I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent service I received from your company. The experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and utterly unprofessional. I placed a simple order for limestone chippings with the agreed understanding that delivery would occur on Wednesday. When I called that day to confirm, I was assured the delivery would arrive by 16:00. However, no one arrived. When I called again at 16:30, I was told by your representative that there was no clear information about the delivery and that it might be delayed until Thursday. On Thursday, I called in the morning to confirm the delivery and spoke with the “manager.” He claimed that the delivery driver had attempted to deliver the chippings the previous day but could not fit his truck in our street, and that he had called me several times. This was not the case, as I did not receive any calls. I explained that this delay was highly inconvenient, as I had arranged for workers to be on-site based on the agreed delivery time. The manager then stated the earliest the delivery could be made was Saturday, which was unacceptable. After some discussion, we agreed the chippings would be delivered later that day, and I would receive a call to confirm. Shortly after, I received a call from the manager, who claimed he had tried to contact me again, but I had not received any calls. He suggested there was an issue with my phone, which I disagreed with. I even offered to provide an alternative contact number, but he refused, implying that it was my fault for having a faulty phone. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and he offered no viable solution to the communication issue, despite my attempts to cooperate, by offering another contact number. Later in the day, after another failed attempt to confirm the delivery, I was told it would arrive within an hour. When the delivery driver finally arrived, he spent less than two minutes on-site and was unwilling to maneuver his vehicle to deliver the chippings, despite there being adequate space as confirmed by previous deliveries. It was only after much insistence and having to move a neighbor’s car that the delivery was finally completed. The level of incompetence, rudeness, and lack of professionalism displayed throughout this entire process is unacceptable. My time was wasted, my workers were left idle, and I was treated with a complete lack of respect!
Great service from MKM Bolton, I’ve used this company a few times now for various items and always delivered. From early opening times so trades can get to sites quicker to last minute items needed to complete a job. Highly recommended
Excellent service from the guys at MKM Bolton. Absolutely love my kitchen Charlotte was excellent in the planning I had no idea how I wanted it but she knew and it’s turned out perfect. The aftercare and customer service from them has been second to non. I will be back soon for my bathroom. Would definitely recommend.
