It's a little depressing to be honest. It used to be nice when the cafe was open, and the toilets. There was a nicer atmosphere, and many more customers. One thing that bothers me in particular is raising the prices of Ella's kitchen baby foods periodically. The price is now £1.80 per sachet. Way too much. £1.55 at Asda and 4 for £6 in Morrisons. Profiteering on baby food should be banned imo. It's really dirty and dingy outside ,with piles of bird poo and stained paving right outside the doors, and the (previously transparent) shelter is hideously filthy looking. All things they used to take pride in - I remember seeing them cleaning outside over the years, but not anymore.

Great place to shop and free parking. Also TK Max next door to pop into. Sainsburys has Argos instore at the back which is also extremely handy

The veg is always fresh and the red meat is much better than the other stores They have a variety of gluten free products Only thing I would say is maybe they should do ABIT more price comparison on some items but I cannot complain I always leave the store satisfied with the products I purchase

Do not expect orders placed via uber eats from this Sainsbury's to turn up in any reasonable amount of time. Plan on three hours at least, regardless of what the system tells you it "should" be. FIVE different delivery drivers arrived at this Sainsbury's to collect my order today, placed over 2 and a half HOURS earlier. FIVE! Every single one of them cancelled after waiting for 5-10 minutes each with no order ready to go each time, despite the order being marked as 'Shopping Completed' on the system ahead of the arrival of the first driver. This was a small order, £45 worth. Then, without warning, Sainsbury’s cancelled the order entirely. It was a complete waste...not just of my time, but of the time and fuel of multiple Uber drivers who arrived, waited, and left with nothing. I've got no idea how they are running the uber eats service side of things at this Sainsbury's, but a completely embarrassing display from whoever is involved. Never again.

Sainsbury is supposed to be a store that offers high-quality food, but visiting this location feels more like stepping into a pound shop. The freezers are often empty, and the fruit and vegetables sometimes lack any fresh items; when they do have produce, it’s usually past its prime. At least in a pound shop, the shelves are consistently stocked. Sainsbury's has chosen to invest more in eliminating staff from the shop floor to add more self-checkouts for trolleys, rather than ensuring that the shelves are filled with food and that there are staff available at manned tills for those who prefer not to use the self-service. Sainsbury's, similar to other retailers, now anticipates that customers assume the responsibilities of a cashier, purportedly to reduce waiting times, yet does not provide any employee discount or any other discount for this service. At the same time, they maintain elevated prices for food and household goods, effectively charging customers for the privilege of undertaking cashier duties. Additionally, Sainsbury's Oldham needs to have the security guards oversee the limited disabled parking spaces available. There are instances where individuals without a blue badge, particularly couriers picking up orders from Sainsbury's, occupy these disabled bays without considering that a disabled customer needs access to them. There have also been occasions when customers with blue badges are looking for a vacant disabled parking bay, only to find one occupied by someone who does not have a blue badge displayed.

One of my favourite supermarkets whenever I need to buy something for myself or the family. Usually I come out happy and satisfied. Lovely staff.

Good quality food. Amazing friendly helpful staff. The hot food counter has been changed it's no longer a member of staff behind it but a help yourself counter with products all bagged up. Far more efficient

Nothing to fault. The parking is good, a broad selection. I personally go for food but the clothes section is great too. Reasonable prices. Enjoyable experiences, never had issues with staff or anything
