   My dealings with this company stem from my 85 year old mother, who is profoundly deaf and just diagnosed with onset Alzheimer’s. She has rented a Hoover and a washing machine from this company for years. Both of which we recently bought replacements for. The washing machine because the rented one stopped working this weekend We phoned this company today to ask them to pick up their items, and I also explained my mothers age and medical condition. The woman who took my call asked to speak to my mum to varify who I was. Fair enough. She then tried to get her to rent another washing machine. Despite having been told we’d bought her another one, and my mother’s age and medical condition. She then refused to cancel the contract with my mother until my mother wrote to them asking for such. In 2025 they still want you to physically write to them giving a months notice! Eventually we agreed them we’d screenshot and email a letter to them. They refused to give a date when they’d pick up their items despite one of them not working. This woman I spoke to, was the rudest person I’ve come across in a long time. And trying to cajole an old lady with Alzheimer’s to take out another rental with you may or may not be legal. But it is certainly immoral.

   I have a dishwasher from this which is suppose to be full size but only provided me a slimline then several calls regarding payment when I explained my dad had just passed away compared it to her nans passing which is not the same as your last remaining parent !!! First bad review I have given a company but very upset about that call

   I have used Decobains for over 20 years and have never had a problem! Any time I needed a replacement washer, they had one on board. I would highly recommend them, as would my late mother, who used them from around 1987, again, with no problems at all.
