Went to Galvin Bistrot for a Saturday afternoon lunch with friends and had an excellent time. The food was amazing and we loved the updated style to the menu since we last visited. The mediterranean style with things such as the sardine pincho or arancini balls while we chose the rest of the dishes were amazing. We also loved the starters such as venison tartare and the pasta such as the ragu. The mains were all the quality and presentation you'd expect from Galvin and did not disappoint. Staff were lovely, friendly and so helpful too. Wine and cocktails didn't disappoint either; negroni's and old fashioned's.

We had a great meal here and left quite full. The burger was amazing but I'd recommend anything on the menu. They have a Sunday roast two courses for £33 which is very price competitive for the area. The restaurant is intimate and beautiful. Also the house wine was tasty.

Was treated to a meal at the bistro at Galvin’s in an evening. Waiters were pleasant & attentive to start with. Food quality was as good as expected. We loved the duck pate & beef tartare. My grilled Octopus was a success though I would have preferred vegetables to potatoes if there was a choice. My friend’s duck leg was very good too. We had no complaint along the lines of quality, perhaps just the lack of a little sparkle. Also service was a bit slack at the end. All in all, a very pleasant evening in a lovely environment.

Great experience for my dad’s birthday! Manager when I arrived was friendly and had a chat with him behind the bar whilst waiting for my family. Waitress was fun and nice her name begins with L I totally forgot the spelling sorry but has jet black hair and was on the ball throughout the entire experience. We had a nice table outside and the food was delicious. Would recommend

Two visits in the week surrounding a birthday. One lunch and one dinner. Marie the manager looked after us wonderfully. Perfectly cooked steak frites on the lunch visit and great roast Cornish cod for dinner. Recommended without hesitation.

We had an excellent lunch here. Good food, service and setting and the prices are reasonable given the quality.

Unmistakenly French look and feel. The large bi-folding doors seamlessly connecting the indoors with the outdoor terrace. Beautiful in the hot summer evening I went. The food is really good and the service excellent. More a 4.5*. I loved it! I also loved the ceiling fans on the dark ceiling. Very Français. As it darken, it had a beautiful atmosphere, all the most with the lighted trees just outside the terraced area in the square. Magical. They serve Pilsner beer from the Czeck Republic, that comes directly from there in a beer tanker. One of the very few places in London where you can find it. The beer is kept in the 3 copper tanks over the bar. Amazing just to look at it. The food was really good. I went for their Michelin menu with caraffe of wine. My starter of braised calves' tongue, beetrot & celeriac and main of free range chicken breast, peas, broad beans, alsacs bacon, baby gem were wonderfully cooked and beautifully presented. My dessert of buttermilk pannacota, strawberries, pistachio was truly delicious. The buttermilk pannacota was one of the best i've ever had, sooo smooth, and the crunchy bits of pistachio adding the texture. Divine. In brief, a beautiful bistrot, with great food and excellent service. The staff are superb! Very highly recommended. PS: while there, have a look around the square at the sculptures of the Herd of Hope. Truly magnificent. At night it's got a magical feel!

Fast and friendly service. Delicious vegetarian options, great margaritas and the 2x course offer is great. We tried the goat cheese salad and the aubergine both delicious

Went here for a birthday and to celebrate, it was awesome and befitting the occasion. The waiting staff was very discreet and attentive. The food was exquisite, however the dessert was forgettable. The Comté was not quite what I'd hoped for and the biscuits didn't fit in the picture (not Galvin caliber). The brut served with the set menu was surprisingly good. They also served canned beer, which didn't feel in tune with the experience, but was so good and different to have.
