   Wow, wow, wow! I was looking for a dress for my daughter’s wedding but dressing up is not something I feel comfortable with. Naturally I had been putting off the purchase of a new frock as everything I bought was returned as they looked awful on me. By pure chance, whilst visiting Matlock for pork pies I found Bella Figura and the two most loveliest ladies who made my mother of the bride journey become a reality. They took me on a journey, they suggested the most amazing fabric and Suzanne designed me the most sensational dress. Teresa also went the extra mile and helped me find a gorgeous hat. I placed all my faith in this company and they did not disappoint in the slightest. The dress is stunning, it makes me feel confident, elegant and so very comfortable. Teresa and Suzanne are kind, funny and professional. They are masters of their craft. What a fabulous experience xx

   I booked an appointment for two dresses, including my bridal gown, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I could honestly imagine coming back every weekend, it was that much fun! The space itself is stunning, and stepping inside feels like such a treat. Suzanne and Teresa were incredibly warm, welcoming and thoughtful. Their advice was not only helpful but clearly grounded in experience and genuine care. I’d love to return someday to design a custom dress with them — it’s clear I’d be in the best hands. I’m thrilled with how beautifully both of my dresses fit. Suzanne and Teresa are truly magic!

   Bella Figura are alteration goddesses! They worked absolute magic on my wedding dress. I asked if they could do the difficult task of cutting the straps off my backless wedding dress so it was strapless and backless, but somehow still stayed up, and they absolutely rose to the challenge and tried different things to make it work- which it absolutely did! I danced (and even jumped!) throughout the night and the dress stayed in place the whole time. Suzanne also made me a pair of bespoke delicate sleeves which were so beautifully made. She completely got what I was after and created something better than I could ever have imagined. Suzanne also tailored a second dress for me which, because of the thick material, other places I'd tried to get it altered had turned down, but she managed to turn something which hung off me, into a dress which was the perfect fit. Suzanne and Teresa were both so kind, positive and helpful throughout all the fittings- an absolute delight to deal with. Thank you so much both!

   Suzanne did my wedding dress tailoring and I had my final alteration appointment with her today. I had the most fantastic experience and both ladies were so warm and welcoming - they made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. The morning before I came for my fitting I was feeling quite down about certain areas of my dress and after my fittings with Suzanne I didn’t realise the difference the alterations would make. I left the appointment in love with my dress and feeling super confident for my big day! Would 1000% recommend ♥️

   Great individual modern vintage style that can be either made or modified to fit perfectly. Helpful pair of sisters running the shop that are happy for you to choose your own fabric or style of outfit for a reasonable price. Fabulous accessories which you don't find elsewhere and at a great price. Just a pleasure to browse at as it's all so beautifully presented.
