   I like cex it's great for collecting games But, your colleagues need to stop having conversations with each other while serving customers. Last few times I've been in the employees are deep in conversation and serving without even looking at the customers they're serving. At one point recently they stopped serving me entirely to talk to another co worker that came back from their break. I get retail is hard, but there's times to talk and in the middle of a transaction isn't the time.

   Went to buy a ps4 game (Stray) which was £25 in this shop. Told them that it's £21 new on Amazon and £18 second hand and she replied that they offer a 5 year warranty on the 2nd hand disc which is why the price is higher!! Sounds like a scam as there is no way I could return a faulty disc after let say 4 years!! Haha... no wonder people buy off amazon instead of shops

   Really positive service and great management. I bought a second hand XBOX Series X from them and unfortunately when I got home and opened it up everything smelled, really strongly, of smoke. I took it straight back and exchanged for a pristine boxed like for like. Thank you.

   The shop looked like it had been looted. No game was stood up properly and there were around 12 PS5 games on the shelf and 20 or so Switch Games. Is there a sale I wasn’t aware of or are they just closing down? The queue was also slow and long.

   Some of the used items for sale were a similar price to buying new elsewhere. I was interested in browsing the Switch games, but the shelf was almost empty. A generally underwhelming shopping experience.

   I give this place an average review score, simply because I couldn't wrap my head around some of the prices. There was a second hand Nintendo switch for £290 with nothing but the standard equipment. You can get a brand new one from argos for £259 with all the same bits & bobs. They did have lots of cool, rare items there though which picks up the score a fair bit. Hence the straight down the middle review score. I would still recommend a visit, just be sure to look into items & question the pricing before you buy anything!

   I have been coming here for years. Staff are always polite. Prices are fair, especially when you consider the hassle of selling something that's reasonably priced online. I came in on a busy weekend afternoon. The customers were so rude, impatient and nasty. I felt sorry for the staff who work hard there. They don't deserve that. I would recommend this store.
