   Awful place. More like a jumble sale than a shop. Never any staff to ask for help. Far too many rails/stands for stock, and they're in perfect positioning for taking your eye out. You can't get your body through never mind a wheelchair or pram. Queues are ridiculously long, cashier's look like they could cry! Overall shop needs a refit, staff could do with customer service training and applying a smile.

   Why is it so difficult for a member of staff to pick up the phone I have been trying to phone over the last 2 days so I don't have a wasted journey, tried Rotherham and Fox Valley but seems all staff are deaf to the sound of a phone ringing. I work in retail and we realise that it is only manners to answer the phone and have a polite conversation it should all be part of the service.

   On 6/8/2022 I went into sports direct to exchange some shorts and the manager on duty said their had been worn they had 6 tiny holes in four at the front and two at the back. These shorts was tried on Only !!!! As a manager myself in retail her customer service towards me was absolutely horrendous she was very rude and she had very poor management . I’ve reported this to customer service and I’m still waiting on a reply as I know these shorts the manager on duty said these were worn theirs a material fault. The manager on duty this day needs to take her customer support course again and also her mental health awareness course she’s a disgrace to sports direct.

   I went into the store to get my little one some trainers. I asked an assistant for some help I was told all we have is out on display , I then asked another if they had a particular trainer in a certain size I was told no I then asked for a black trainer in that size 3rd assistant this time and he took me to a table where I found the one I asked for and was told they did not have it in that size . Staff are not interested in their job just want yo talk among them self, not interested in doing their job this is last time I will shop here . Lots of other discounted sports shops that I will be happy to spend my money in from now on .
