Very good choice for dinner food quality and quantity is very good and tasty staff are very friendly and welcoming
This place quickly became my favorite spot in town! The interior is beautifully designed — soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a modern yet homey vibe. I tried their roasted duck with orange glaze, and it was divine. The skin was crispy, and the sauce balanced sweetness and acidity perfectly. The waiter even recommended a wine that paired amazingly with the dish. You can tell the staff here truly care about the guest experience.
The food and the service was excellent, it wasn’t just standard grilled meats, they were marinated and seasoned well. The cold mezze platter was fantastic, every item was spot on and they also had this potato starter dish which was spectacular. We would definitely go back whenever we are back in the area and highly recommend eating here.
If you only have one night in Slough, go here to eat! We were visiting from the US, and got into town pretty late. Decided to go to Damascene and we’re so glad we did! Delicious food, great prices, amazing environment and wonderful service. Highly recommend!
Nice food and atmosphere. The service is very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is located in the high street which makes the parking somehow challenging.
Really a nice place to have food. The food is always delicious and the staff are so helpful and kind. I end up asking the details of the food always happy to explain the menu and make recommendations as well. Had a good experience and nice!!
Simply put the taste and quality of the food was outstanding and the price was more then fair. All the wraps tasted amazing, especially the chicken and halloumi ones. It seemed like a lot of thought was put in finding the proper mix of vegetables and sauce for each meat type. The service was kind and thoughtful. Something went wrong with our order and they helped us immediately without any weird looks or disbelief. I appreciated that immensely. The one complain I have is that the restroom could use a better upkeep. It was kind of messy to put it lightly. But that is easily fixable.
I can’t put enough words together to describe what an amazing service they give every time I go to #Damascene. 1000% recommended + fresh food and insanely good!!! + best costumer service I’ve had in Slough so far! Ammar + Mohammed and all the team have always been so kind and very welcoming.
Awful service. Been here few times now ans service is hit and miss. Food quality the same. Asked pita bread to be warmed up three times and all we got in the end was hard flat bread. When owners are not around staff seem to not care about customer service. We ordered three things and two were at best ok. And one was good. Very inconsistent. Prices are reasonable atmosphere reasonable If they can deliver consistency with food quality and customer service they are decent local place to visit. However if you making an effort to drive and eat this kind of food then I would not recommend at all. There’s 100 of restaurants better then this one in every aspect.
