“This place quickly became my favorite spot in town! The interior is beautifully designed — soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a modern yet homey vibe. I tried their roasted duck with orange glaze, and it was divine. The skin was crispy, and the sauce balanced sweetness and acidity perfectly. The waiter even recommended a wine that paired amazingly with the dish. You can tell the staff here truly care about the guest experience.”

“We went to Mori on a whim whilst visiting Slough on a short break. We had a long day and we wanted something close by to the travel lodge we were staying at. We picked this restaurant without looking at the reviews and honestly I can hand on heart say this has got to be the best meal we’ve ever eaten. The food quality was out of the world. It was fresh, well presented, and the flavours were to die for. We had starters, mains and a dessert and genuinely we can’t fault a single thing. The atmosphere was so calming and peaceful and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The chef preparing the food with everything in view was fantastic. We HIGHLY recommend this place and if we didn’t live so far we would be back again in a heart beat.”

“Alright so, From the first bite to the last, this pizza was a masterpiece. The crust was perfectly crisp, yet delightfully chewy, providing the ideal foundation for the symphony of flavors that danced upon it. The sauce, a vibrant blend of tomatoes and herbs, offered a tangy sweetness that awakened the palate. Each topping was carefully selected and generously applied, creating a harmonious balance of textures and tastes. The cheese, melted to gooey perfection, added a creamy richness that tied everything together. Overall, this pizza was an exceptional culinary experience, earning a well-deserved 5/5 rating.”

    Steakout Slough (Halal)

    ★★★★☆ 4.5
    Open

“Steakout in Slough is a lively spot with a warm and modern ambience, perfect for a casual evening with friends or family. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome. Service was attentive throughout, and a big thank you to Yasar for looking after us so well. We started our meal with the Spicy Lamb Chops, which came nicely grilled and coated in Steakout’s signature spices. They had a good kick of flavour and were well-marinated, though they could have been a little softer to bring out that extra juiciness. Still, they were tasty and set the tone for the meal. Next came the Dynamite Prawns. These were large tempura-fried prawns served with sriracha mayonnaise. The batter was crisp and light, and the prawns themselves were fresh and meaty. While the dish could have used a bit more heat, the balance between the creamy mayo and the crunchy coating made it enjoyable. We then had the Roulette of Chicken Wings, a fun dish with wings tossed in a mix of sauces. Each flavour brought something different to the table, but the buffalo stood out the most. It had the right balance of tang and spice, giving that satisfying kick without overpowering the meat. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, making them an easy favourite. Moving to the mains, the Philly Cheese Sandwich was hearty and satisfying. It featured tender strips of steak meat grilled with seasoned onions and peppers, topped with melted cheese in a soft roll. The combination of textures and flavours worked well, with the cheese adding richness to every bite. The Angus Cheese Burger followed, featuring a smoked Angus beef patty topped with American and Monterey Jack cheese, lettuce, and Steakout’s homemade sauce. The burger had good flavour and melted cheese throughout, though it could have been a touch juicier. Still, it was well presented and enjoyable. The Fillet Steak was the star of the mains. This prime cut was tender, buttery, and cooked perfectly to our liking. The charcoal grilling gave it a subtle smoky edge, enhancing its natural flavour. Each bite melted in the mouth, proving why this cut is considered one of the best. The Chicken Steak offered something lighter but equally satisfying. The grilled chicken breast fillet was tender, juicy, and seasoned well. It had plenty of flavour on its own, showing care in how it was marinated and cooked. Then came the Chicken Mushroom Pie, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The creamy filling of chicken and sliced mushrooms in a mildly spiced sauce was wrapped in flaky puff pastry. Every bite had layers of texture, from the crisp pastry to the rich, creamy filling inside. The flavours blended beautifully, making it one of those dishes you remember after leaving. To go with the meal, we tried a few refreshing mocktails. The Strawberry Mojito had a nice balance of mint and sweetness, while the Strawberry Daiquiri was fruity and smooth. The Mango Mojito added a tropical touch, bright and refreshing between bites of the heavier dishes. We ended with their famous Milkshakes, which are a must-try. Thick, creamy, and indulgent, they were the perfect way to finish off the meal. Overall, Steakout Slough delivered a great dining experience with solid dishes, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a good choice for those who enjoy hearty grills, juicy steaks, and flavour-packed comfort food. Whether you’re visiting with family or friends, it’s a spot worth returning to. If you go, make sure to try the Chicken Mushroom Pie and Fillet Steak, enjoy a mocktail or two, and leave room for their milkshakes. A well-run restaurant with a welcoming team and consistent quality, Steakout Slough is definitely worth a visit. A big thank you to Yasar and the Steakout team for the excellent service and friendly atmosphere.”

“The dishes on the new menu are amazing. Choose from a variety of proteins and you can have any sauce you like with it. (The menu must have listed at least 8 sauces). "NoChicken" is also available, in addition to the usual meats and tofu. (The new menu is not on the website. However, the vast majority of the dishes on the old menu are on the new menu.) My chicken lettuce wraps were delicious - perfectly seasoned and stayed hot for quite some time. Would recommend.”

“As surprised as I am, I have to give 5 stars! It was a great stay, considering it is a 3 star, budget hotel. Rooms were very clean, a bit tired but spotless. The carpet must have been laid out recently because it was still fluffy and soft. I loved the idea of open space underneath the bed as you can easily hoover under and there is no old dust lingering there. There was no musty smell in the rooms and the corridors smelled of fresh cleaning procucts. Our daughter praised the comfort of the kids bed (no springs digging in her body). The food was good, both dinner and breakfast, small buffet but sufficient enough for warm and cold options. I forgot to mention the welcome card on our desk and 2 christmas colouring cards for our daughter which is some serious 5 star hotel add on :) It wasn't perfect but it was surprisingly quiet for a full capacity and we enjoyed our stay throughoutly.”

“We had an excellent dining experience here! The ambience was very welcoming and added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. We ordered Chicken 65, Chilli Pepper Mushroom, Chilli Paneer, Samosa Chaat, and the Non-Veg Thali. Every dish was packed with amazing flavors, and the starters, in particular, were exceptional—big thumbs up to the chef for such delightful preparations! For two people, including a bottle of water, we spent £55. The pricing felt justified, as the portions and taste were far superior to other restaurants where we often pay more but leave unsatisfied. I’ve already recommended this place to my colleagues, and I wholeheartedly suggest others try it too. It’s truly worth every penny!”
