   Heard a lot of good reviews about this place so wanted to try it. Had 2 mugs of coffee & person I was with had huge piece of homemade bread and butter pudding which he said was very tasty. He couldn't eat it all would have been enough for 2. Definitely go again. Staff very friendly. They seem to do a lot of takeaways.

   Dropped by for brekky and a walk by the nearby pond. Fast friendly service. Tasty fresh cooked food. Nice outdoor area to enjoy the sun when it’s around. Comfy booths and tables inside.

   Honestly I love this place. The food is always such good quality and it doesn’t cost the earth either. I just had a curry and chips for a change and expected nothing more than a microwave meal, but to my surprise I was met with an amazing home made curry that I would pay good money for in a proper curry house. I love how welcome we are all made to feel. This is always my go to place now. Pleasant people, environment and food ❤️

   Lived over the road from this place for over 2 years and hadn't popped in - what a mistake! Just had my 3rd large English (allowing myself 1 a week LOL) and they are consistently excellent and friendly (and can sing!) Would give 6 stars if I could - see you next week!!

   Old school greasy spoon. Only thing missing was a arcade machine and a gambling machine in the corner. Food was really good, i went for the vegetarian breakfast, which was excellent. Only gripe was the quality of tea, more builders cuppa tea, other then that it is excellent. Value for money.

   First off I will say it was extremely busy before I give my review. After we sat down at a table for 4 it's firstly needed wiping which I asked for a cloth to do myself (no big deal as I could see it was busy. ) The interior was ok with a couple of paintings that could be purchased for what must be a local artist. There were rectangle tables and 2 pointless circle tables which once occupied blocked any movement around the exit so I would remove those asap. Now to the service. With no menus on the tables you had to look at the walls for available food which is ok for some but not for others. The gentleman taking the order I think was hard of hearing as people were talking to him and he just ignored them, so with that I wrote down our order as there were multiple choices on the breakfast menu. So our meal was ordered correctly but unfortunately didn't arrive the way we expected. The young blonde girl whose name I didn't get was extremely efficient. Now onto the food, I couldn't fault anything on my large breakfast so it's a shame some of us that don't like beans and ordered tomatoes didn't get the latter. Overall thought with some slight changes I would have got a higher rating. With all that said, would I return? Yes if I'm in the area.

   Food was fresh, sausage was thick and juicy, bacon hadn't been to a cremation, mushrooms were absolutely bang on, and price was really reasonable even with the additional charge for black pudding and hash brown.
