   I don't normally use coffee shop outlets but find this particular site to be very friendly and unusually, caring. Today, whilst looking for a place to sit we noticed a vacant place but there was a hot coffee on the table and we started to look elsewhere. The lady at the counter called to us said it was fine to use as the person had suddenly upped and left. She said she tried to catch the person to offer to put the coffee in a takeaway container/cup. I thought 'not many people would bother to do that'. A very pleasant experience overall.

   3 and a half stars Well I've been in here maybe 10 times now and my first thoughts were that the staff were not overly friendly. Maybe having a bad day(we all do) but after my 10 or so visits I've come to the conclusion that they are a moody lot.theres no back and forth in the conversation. It's impossible to get most of them to smile Coffees ok but they've got rid of the non-dairy milk,so I know a few of my fellow sufferers who only eat/drink gluten free are not coming in anymore(not this branch specifically) So getting less and less reason to visit I'm afraid

   Currently in agony due to staff not listening to my dietary requirement. I asked twice ‘did you get that it’s with oat milk?’ ‘Yes’ the barista said! Meanwhile I checked the receipt and it didn’t even state the oat milk option!! Ruined my whole day, as now I’m unwell due to dairy milk being used! Staff were also loud and didn’t make the environment tranquil and was shouting to one another from the staff area to the coffee making section. They also mocked a customer who brought their drink back as the customer said they ordered something different.. the staff said you got what you asked for and all looked at each other in dismay so the customer had to drink it

   I don't often leave reviews, but today I have to - I come to this Costa at least once a week and the service has always been stellar, but today they went above and beyond. Something was forgotten from my order (the first time this has happened) so I went back in to pick it up - not only did they apologise and give the missing item to me, they even gave me another one AND a free drink for the inconvenience. The staff here have always been lovely! Can't recommend this particular branch highly enough.
