Glad to see that this café has now re-opened. The lady in charge is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I had a really nice Chicken Tikka sandwich with a mint sauce, side salad and crisps whilst the two ladies that I was with had toast and jam and a tea cake with jam and both were very impressed. This café isn’t like some others where you get the merest scrape of butter; these were properly buttered and with a small jar of nice strawberry jab. The two coffees and one tea were also excellent. Nice comfortable chairs too. I would strongly recommend this café to anyone visiting the Crematorium.

Waited over half hour for 2 breakfasts whilst other people who ordered after us got served. Had to chase 3 times. Appalling service. The wait staff have no idea what they are doing, no organisation at all, constantly delivering wrong meals to tables, or not delivering at all. Gave 2 stars due to the quality of food being O.K otherwise zero stars

We were going to the crem 2 take arrangements of flowers because our mom past over 7yrs ago 2morrow. We visited this cafe 2day because it was raining and we thought it would stop by the time we'd had a cuppa. There was 4 of us we all had a hot drink. 2 of us had toasted tea cakes and 2 had bacon aand tomato sandwiches. We all really enjoyed what we had. The gentleman that served us was very pleasant. And came and held the door open 4 us as we were leaving. Very helpful gentleman. The cafe is small but there is a courtyard outside with seating. In nice weather. There is a toilet in there. The prices were very reasonable. This cafe is in the crem. So if like us you are paying ur respects 2 a loved one. You could go and have a nice cuppa or cool drink and something 2 eat before you go home. I would definitely recommend going in this cafe. Its lovely. Some folk may not even now its in the crem. Its right by the office. Defo go and try it.

They do funeral catering as well as normal café facilities. Being unable to book the main on site venue I turned to the café and I'm so glad I did. At 10am a big room meal would have been inappropriate and being able to sit outside in the Courtyard Cafe's immaculate courtyard with fresh teas and coffees, so delicious home made cakes and bottles of water on hand was wonderful. My family happily looked at old photos and reminisced while eating and drinking with absolutely no 'hurry ups' whatsoever. The waitress came and did refills and handed round cakes, but we could get whatever we wanted and the cakes were LOVELY. Thank you, Sharon, and your team for taking the stress out of the after funeral for me and your costs were incredibly low compared to what it would have cost in the main venue, although obviously I would have happily paid that. I preferred the café setting, everyone was happy, thank you all.
