    Complaint Regarding Hygiene at Costa Coffee Date: July 22, 2025 Approximate Time of Incident: 9:20 AM - 9:35 AM Subject: Serious Concern Regarding Staff Hygiene Practices To Whom It May Concern, I am a regular customer of Costa Coffee, and unfortunately, today, July 22, 2025, between approximately 9:20 AM and 9:35 AM, I witnessed an incident that has raised serious concerns about your branch's hygiene standards. One of your staff members, while on duty, petted a customer's dog and immediately after, without thoroughly and properly washing their hands, continued with their tasks (which involved preparing or serving beverages/food). This action is highly unsanitary and has undermined my trust in the cleanliness and hygiene of your establishment. As someone who values hygiene greatly, and considering the presence of individuals with allergies and sensitivities in the community, this incident is unacceptable to me. I kindly request that you take this matter seriously and implement the necessary measures to re-train your staff on strict adherence to hygiene protocols, especially handwashing after contact with animals, to prevent such incidents from recurring. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Tried coffee Frappe. Looked like she made it for the first time. Pathetic taste. Just tasted like ordinary cold coffee(can make more tasteful at home). Behaviour was also cold. Need a-lot of improvement in the staff behaviour, please don’t show cold behaviour to the different cultures. We are in the era of AI, don’t judge anyone what they are wearing(hijab).

    The friendliest Costa I have ever visited. This feels more like going into a local independent coffee shop, with all the benefits of the Costa menu, but more than usually friendly engaging staff. If only Costa could bottle this atmosphere and spread it throughout the network!
