Went for a vanilla oat latte and a black americano. The coffees were nice but the vibes were terrible. Service was surprisingly quick, but the staff just appeared like they did not wish to be there. It didn’t feel warm and inviting like a place you’d want to return to, and you could feel the tension. I hope it was a one off thing but reading some of these other reviews I doubt it is. Hopefully the staff can find joy in their work and each other.
Staff are lovely and Great customer service here whenever I've been. Only downside is sometimes tables are not properly cleaned or wiped down and sometimes dishes/cups aren't cleared away on the tables from previous customers. Other than that the lady's who've served me here do an amazing professional job. Nice place to sit in and have a chat. I always order the same.drinks and never had any issues with my order. Perhaps for staff to make customers aware when asking about additional/add on's for drinks that there is extra charges for them as this has happened to me before and didn't realise I was being charged extra.
Nobody cleans tables, dirty cups and trays lay on many tables. Dirty toilet without even the toilet paper. It is a little bit discusting here :(. Don't blame the staff though, they are busy, the management of this place is to blame here.
Would have marked higher however there are a few things that could be better. 1. Tables when being cleared should also be wiped over regardless if mess is on table or not! Especially as we are in a germ spreading season. 2. When being offered additional/alternatives on your order it should be clear that there is an additional charge and what that charge is. 3. When a customer has expressed that they do not like the drink they have just brought because too much of a coffee shot was added even though only a "little bit" was requested so totally spoilt the taste of the drink, which ended up being wasted it would of been great customer service if we were offered a replacement instead of not acknowledging the customers dissatisfaction! It does get quiet busy in here and the queue can get long, but otherwise it's a great meeting place and the muffins are soft and lovely.
Staff there were polite, as well as generous when me and my sister hung out there, and I loved my cappuccino
Previously left a scathing review, but I've been in a few times since, and think there's been a staff overhaul which has improved the place. It's not the best for consistency, I've noticed my flat white will taste different depending on who makes it, and there is a specific person who makes the best ones. Gets quite busy on weekend mornings, so usually come in early (previous review was a rant about them not being open more than 15 minutes after their opening time a couple of months ago).
