Said the fryers was getting cleaned so couldn’t get fried bread hash browns , blackpud disgrace , so was only able to get one breakfast wouldn’t call that a breakfast says probably the best cafe , we all disagree , you know it’s bad when you get a sandwhich and he asks if you need a knife and fork cause it’s falling to bits , wouldn’t even let me swap mushrooms for egg even when he was missing half the items .however Gregg’s didn’t let us down next door

Popped in for a bacon butty. Very welcoming service. Place was spotless! Sandwich cooked fresh, with lovely thick cut bacon and fresh white bread. The extensive menu on the chalk board has something for all tastes and pockets. Lady on shift was extremely pleasant with a nice cheery welcome and goodbye on departure. Will definitely be using again as it makes a change to the corporate sausage roll factory round the corner.

I walked in at 8:15am(opening time is 8am) and the women before the counter screamed at me ‘only just opened be long wait’ in rude manner. No hello or morning just straight to screaming. I left and found somewhere else. If this is the care someone takes taking to the customers don’t see there being much more care with the food.

I love a good fry up and trawl the pubs and cafes around the grove every winter looking for the best breakfast. Rovers Cafe excelled in 2023. It’s a nice place to eat, serves a lovely big breakfast and it’s really good quality.

It was OK. Have tasted better bacon sandwiches. Not a lot of eating tables. I would still visit there again.

Food was ok but to be honest looking round once sat down cleanliness worried me or should I say lack of it. Whole place seemed to need a full deep clean and keeping on top of better sadly.
