Ever wondered why theres no one in there..? Decided to give it a go the other day, for a change from Jimmy Macs a few doors down. Place is a bit cold and no toilets. 2 lattes, 2 hot sandwiches ordered, one of them toasted. Easy to remember and written down. No baguettes available but never mind. Lattes arrived but lacked flavour, sandwiches arrived, one lacked being toasted, bacon on both lacked any meaningful time in the frying pan. Wanted to say something but seeing as the order was fairly fundemental for a high st cafe we guessed this must be the norm for the place. Took the bacon off the bread for the dog and left. I know its cheap but its cheerless, cold, lacks facilities and the food/service was a bit hopeless. Not a great experience.......

Very disappointing. Had nice latte. Yet food was soooooo bland an colourless. Ordered carrabean curry an rice. Curry was like the colour of baby vomit. No spice what so ever. An could only taste the overcooked potatoes. I've been to the carrabean repeatedly. An NEVER had such a bland horrid looking meal there. Not once. So to call it a carrabean curry is an insult to it's people an MY tastebuds. Try Bennets in Cradley. Their food is outstanding an the real deal. Won't EVER waste money at the garden room again. I can cook WAY better myself lol.

Disappointed with my experience today. Not following any covid regulations, no track and trace, no table service (when questioned apparently this is justified because there was only one member of staff on). Ordered a large breakfast and scrambled egg with bacon on toast. Breakfast was decent, nice sausage especially and good portions. The other meal wasn't good. Very cold. One piece of toast, one rasher of bacon and one egg - I've never been anywhere that does this meal in single quantities. Asked for the bacon crispy and was advised the grill was temperamental so she would try but couldn't guarantee. Overall not great, and really disappointing to not see any measures to protect staff or customers.
