Popped in on the off chance and the place was so busy that we ended up getting a takeaway away. Lady/kid on the counter could not have been less interested if she tried. Two back butties at £3.50 a pop and the kid had to use a calculator to work out the bill. Whilst waiting what seem like an eternity for sarnies, I was stared at by a woman clearing tables. I'm either exceptionally beautiful, or this member of staff has an attitude issue. I'd only been in here once prior to today, and I certainly won't be coming back! Place was clean enough, and the locals seemed to be enjoying the place, but I very much felt like a fish out of water. If I ever needed to know what the inspiration for League Of Gentlemen was, I have inadvertently discovered it. Also, the bacon sandwiches were revolting. Cheapest brown sauce known to man, margarine was the same colour as an end of life patient with liver failure, and the bacon was rubbery as hell. I think it had been frightened with the grill. It was only one good vet away from being able to oink again!

A very friendly cafe in Blackheath town centre. Clean, tidy and a love for salt and pepper pots. Open from 9am until 2pm serving a delightful ray of meals . Also do a Christmas dinner for those who fancy a day of cooking the big feast. Must pre book this though.

Always greeted with friendly smiley faces, the food is always hot and served in good timing. The only cafe i know that does a low fat option breakfast and it’s perfect.
