What an experience, one of our group had a pretty rubbish day and they looked after us so well and spoilt us! Not to mention the food was absolutely insane and amazing value for money - would love to come back soon! Thank you so much for an incredible evening
Good to be back at Chamisse after along time these guys always keeping consistency, Food always great a real taste of Mediterranean Lebanese cuisines(from padron pepper to black aubergine, warak enab, and grilled prawns) I can’t ask for more, as well as a same friendly faces for many years delivering a good service means this guys are doing a great job. Looking forwards to my next visit soon
I took two of my colleagues there for lunchtime for their leaving do. It was quite a busy place and difficult to find seating but our server managed to find a seating area for us. The restaurant is on the small side but cosy. It was quite loud with people talking and with music playing at the same time. We ordered the the vegetarian platter, spinach fatayer, kellaj and calamari with mix of juices. The food was okay. The vegetarian platter was served quite late but tasted nice. Spinach fatayer was a bit cold and tasted bitter. The food could have been served at the same time. Our server was a lovely man. He was friendly and polite. The food was okay but I don’t think we will be visiting here again.
This has got to be by far one of my favourite restaurants. I go often to it when I am in London and the food is authentic and consistently delicious. Service and attention to detail is spot on. A must try! You will most certainly not be disappointed!
Went there to celebrate a friend’s graduation and even brought a cake along. At first, the waiter seemed fine—he took our orders without any issue. But as we added a few extra items after our initial order, his attitude completely changed. He became noticeably annoyed and quite rude. We politely asked for some extra fries (we are obviously paying for), which seemed to really set him off, and the whole vibe of the evening shifted. It became so uncomfortable that we just paid the bill and left—didn’t even end up cutting the cake. The food was average at best, nothing memorable.
We visited the restaurant late around 7 pm , so we were the only People in the restaurant. We could hear some music but it was so quiet and we couldn't hear it well , place is calm , cheerful, our host was nice man who helped us with the options, food was fresh, fast and so tasty. Lentil soup was also so tasty. After he brought us complimentary Turkish sweets which were delicious. Paid around 55 GBP for 2 persons including main dish , soup and drink. You can pay cash or visa. Toilets downstairs nice and clean. Chef didn't say hello to us when he went in and out couple of times and wasn't even making eye contact and even didn't answer us when we thanked him for the nice food but still overall enjoyable restaurant.
By far the best Lebanese food in London!! I come here frequently and every time my friends and I have the best experience. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu; everything is delicious, fresh, and authentic. Not to mention the presentation is stunning!! The atmosphere is also really nice, you feel at home and relaxed when you are here. Overall, the food is amazing, the staff is SO friendly, and the location is very accessible! Doesn't get better than this if you ask me! I will never stop recommending this restaurant to my friends and family.
I really enjoyed their Lebanese food. I took the Lebanese salade as a starter and the mixed grill as main dish. The staff was very nice and friendly
Hands down the best Lebanese food I've had.Thought I had tasted the beat before coming here but I was proven wrong. The mixed grill was amazing, the grilled meat was very juicy and fresh. The presentation of the baklava was very modern and tasted even better. You can tell it is fresh when the pastry is crispy and the nuts are, well, nutty! Would recommend to anyone searching for good food in London. Will return when I'm back n town. Oh and did I mention that the staff were extremely friendly!
Gorgeous food and wonderful staff. We don’t live locally but we love it so much that we happily make the journey down to Chamisse. The staff always remember us and give my partner and I the warmest welcome. Food portions are generous and always served hot and fresh. For authentic Lebanese cuisine look no further!
