This is one of the nicest and most pleasant little tea-shops i have been too. It's great. Make sure, you have cash or an app for a bank transfers, as they don't want to pay the "sales tax" that the banks take on every contactless payment. And, this might help them deliver the brilliant and friendly service, that they do, at very modest prices. I will do my best to hurry back for a full English next time!

Lovely friendly cafe, great cake, drinks and delicious ice cream. But beautiful tranquil location spoiled quite a bit by the grinning maniacal sit-on lawnmower man rallying around noisily between the tables for the whole time we were there. Peace destroyed. The grass didn’t even need cutting. There’s a massive drought and it’s barely alive! (Could someone ask him to come back after closing time?)

Great place to park the car, go for a cycle and then get lunch and a drink when you get back.

Called in with a friend while walking the dog. It's like any other tea room really. The staff were both friendly and efficient although it wasn't busy at the time. Bikers, cyclist, walkers and campers all welcome.

Lovely few hours spent with the family in the pumpkin patch and witches trail. Good picturesque location with two lakes for fishing. Lovely easy walk around the larger lake (witches trail) perfect for younger legs. Couldn't get into the tea rooms unfortunately as they were very busy, but they looked nice with a good selection of cakes/drinks/snacks

Good cafe with wide range of stuff - all you expect from a good cafe. It's a fishing lake but well placed for cycling. Keen pricing and pleasant staff. Unfortunately they don't take cards - so cash only - which I'm always suspicious of in these post covid days.

Idyllic location. Food was nice and there are restrooms available. I would recommend this place to anyone lunching or brunching or just after a peaceful sit with a tasty snack. Lovely little hidden treasure.
