It was our first time at the cafe today and it was great! I have an allergy and that was handled straight away and super easily. All the staff were so lovely and the food was delicious (and also really reasonably priced!). The Biscoff hot chocolate was amazing as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast here is fair. I don’t agree that if you want to remove 2 items from your breakfast you should be charged to add a hash brown. £12 for a breakfast and a cup of tea Definitely not worth the money. Also only my opinion but Being in Yorkshire they should use Yorkshire tea.
Lovely coffee the best in Pontefract gets very busy some days as it gets repeat customers and new ones the staff are very pleasant and helpful.john butler
Just nipped in for a take away salted caramel hot chocolate It was quite quiet in here today But I believe that was due to the weather meaning most people won't have gone out Usually quite busy especially down stairs But there is also seating up stairs which normally has space
Came back to pontefract today, thought I would come back to the café I used to come to, was really disappointed, the food was ok. BUT Cleanliness was NOT I had to clear table , I asked for table to be wiped girl came with a cloth skimmed it across table NO ANTIBACTERIAL CLEANER,Drinks was carried out not on a tray. I asked for two spoons for our drinks didn’t get them, ended up using my knife for cappuccino and same with my husband with is hot chocolate . It cost me over £15 as well also the Floor was disgusting, also under staffed . We could have been any official. First my husband been in there think it will be our last what a waste of £15
Friendly staff and very nice interior. We had cake and a cup of tea + latte and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend very highly especially the home made cakes not only look appetising but are delicious
We went there after our civil wedding to get some lunch. We hadn't booked and they had no idea that we were going for an after wedding lunch. In a few minutes they had created for us a corner to take photos. What a wonderful surprise!!!! A big thank you to the staff. You made our day even more special
I had a lovely vegetarian breakfast and some cake as well. Everything was cooked to perfection! The place is really nice and quiet, and the staff were helpful.
The sausage melt with cheese and red onion chutney was lovely. My daughter (aged 23) loved the unicorn pink hot chocolate.
