Have been a regular here for over 10 years and have watched it slowly deteriorate. The main focus now is getting the oldies in to eat. Came in today for a drink and was told we couldn’t have a bar snack in β€˜drinks only area’, after waiting for staff to have a meeting about the situation first. All the locals have been pushed out and has lost the family atmosphere it once had. We’ve been regular customers throughout these years and will not visit here anymore again. A real shame to have lost what was once a wonderful pub, to an eatery for the elderly. Business is business but you’ve lost the heart of what a pub should be about. Obviously it’s all now about the money…

Excellent, tasty, Xmas meal. Great choice for each course and good size portions - can thoroughly recommend the turkey & pancette pie. Delicious! Lovely friendly service by the waiting staff. Very busy on a December weekday, but the chefs somehow coped! Far better the your standard 'pub grub' menu! Overall, great value for money.

Enjoyed yet another meal here, I've had the 3 course set menu a few times. A popular pub which has quiz nights. Friendly and efficient staff. Updated the menu.

We come here regularly and we have never been disappointed. The food comes out hot, staff is always at best behaviour and even if you don’t have a reservation they always get you a space. Love their chicken burgers and pretty much everything else from the menu.

This is a great place to go for good quality food served by friendly, welcoming staff. It maybe a good idea to reserve a table during busy times, as it can be quite a popular place. Theres a good atmosphere which would suit all age ranges, from young children to the more mature. The food is good quality and well presented and served hot. They have a good range of drinks including cocktails. The prices are quite competitive too, especially if ordering mains and desserts together.

Food orientated, large suburban pub. I visited on Thursday evening and very popular. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful - this is clearly a well run pub as evidenced by its popularity. Good choice of cask beers, well kept and less than Β£3 a pint on Thursdays. Food was good, service prompt. All in all a good spot.

Been such a long time since had toad in the hole. The Yorkshire pud was cooked nicely, fluffy but crunchy. Loved the thick onion gravy and bed of mashed potato. Great pub grub and nice place to enjoy a drink.
