I have been frequenting this PUBLIC HOUSE, The Queens Head in Meriden, for 50 + years and this was always my FAVOURIE pub until my visit today where I was made to feel so UNWELCIME. I worked locally in the area and have always loved this pub. My experience today was that I frequented the pub with 3 friends and, after eating, someone from the kitchen came up to us and said he was concerned about our language. We were all shocked as we were discussing business premises at the time. We were made to feel so UNWELCIME AND INFERIOR that I feel that I CANNOT frequent the pub any more. There was never any further details explained to us. So the moral of the story is βDO NOT LAUGH TOO LOUD OR SPEAK TOO LOUDβ in t he pub, or you will be made to feel UNWELCOME and wondering what you could have said that was offensive to them, particularly when there was not a lot of people around, as this was lunch time. We were going to ask about their Christmas Menu as we were looking to book for 10 people, but no more!! Just so disappointed and still furious after our treatment.

Decent (proper) pub. Beers well kept, and fine pub grub. Iβve been going there for years particularly when working on the BBP. Now retired itβs a less frequent visit after a walk with friends but as good as ever

The Queen's Head is a lovely traditional English public house. It is a good place to go to for eats and drinks if you have visited Meriden, the 'Heart of England', or if you have been to nearby Millisons Wood for a walk. There is a good choice of beers, wines and spirits and the food is well prepared and presented. Your seating can be either inside the pub, outside at the front, or at the back of the pub where there is a lovely lawn area adjacent to lovely countryside. Go on folks, give The Queen's Head a try, you will not be disappointed.

A good old English original country pub, dog friendly, and with a good selection of Beer's and Ciders, what more do you need. We should all support our locals, ues them, or lose them.

Nice looking pub, very old which is nice as it has charm. Prices were cheap but the food reflected this which is a shame. Bit of a weird atmosphere when you walk in and the locals propping up the bar look at you like you are a tourist and not exactly welcoming. Wouldn't return as the food wasnt enjoyable, it's a shame as with the style of the pub and how it's secluded this could be a real hidden gem but it's lacking quite a bit

Decent pub with a separate Indian restaurant located above, a little dated but good food and ale .

Stopped off for a cheeky pint and a bite to eat for lunch which was not bad value. Sat in the sunshine out the front. Staff we're nice.
