   Only used the layby for a break. Last time I went in the café, a bad tempered Yorkshire man barked "We only do bbbrrreadcakes, no toast" So guess what I did, yep that's right, went to Whitwood! What's a bbbrrreadcake anyway, it's a barm cake in Lancashire! I have heard that it changed hands so I will give it a try and leave a better review. But only when it's open as it always seems to be closed. Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

   No issue with initial outlay. Menu is good & prices good to..However it would be nice if the staff actually listened to what I was ordering.. I said I didn't want tomatos & yet my breakfast all freshly cooked was served with tomatos . When I queried this I was argued with. The breakfast was taken away. Fried bread served on a separate plate ,why?. It should be with the breakfast. I asked for bread & butter & was told that I asked for it to be fried. Since when does fried bread sound like bread & butter?. Another customer came in & they took the bacon off of my already paid for breakfast & gave it to him. All they had to do was take the tomatoes off the plate but instead I sat there for a further 10 mins whilst my fried bread that should have been on my breakfast plate got cold . I was disgusted & duly left . The coffee was ok. Take heed I will not be returning. Absolutely appalled. It's not as though they were rushed off their feet & brimin with customers. I was the only one there.
