Was recommended this pub by a local to Moseley and loved it. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and the food was great - apparently a new chef. The chicken tenders were the best I have ever had - melt in the mouth chicken and crispy coating. Impressed by all the dishes and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful, and very filling 2 course meal at this cozy pub (we were seated next to the fireplace). The atmosphere was chilled and the staff super friendly. We ordered the sticky ribs starter. Awesome. Schnitzel. Awesome Sea bass with extra rosemary and parmasean fries. Awesome I also tried the spicy margarita which was delicious! The food did take a little while to come out but I presume it was made from scratch as it was piping hot when it came out and everything looked freshly made. Reasonable prices, even without the First Table discount, so for the 2 of us it was just over £40 (would've been approx £60+ without discount) and we tipped up to what we felt it should've been lol Parking was a little iffy but we found some close by on the street after circling for a little while. Great all round and special thanks Matt, chef Mame and the lady with the gorgeous nails behind the bar!

Visited on a Friday evening. Enjoyed the wine selection - nice to see a good variety and loads by the glass too. Didn't eat but the table next to us had some small plates that smelt amazing. Service was really friendly too, nice one, will be back!

I came here over Christmas with friends and it’s a really nice old pub with a great atmosphere. It is dog friendly and the outdoors has heating too. The food is high quality and the cocktails are very reasonably priced.

Overall, we thought this was a lovely place to have a Sunday roast for the family. We each ordered something different but felt the sharing platter was the most value. I had the beef roast but was a bit disappointed that I had only 2 small slices of beef, however the Yorkshire pudding was generously sized even if it were a bit overcooked. Our roast potatoes weren't crispy but they still tasted nice. The roast root veggies were done nicely and cabbage was a nice a touch. The gravy/jus could be a bit richer but thought it was just the right amount. The chicken was the best out of the lot, very well cooked and seasoned and generous. The pork belly was delicious and our second favourite. The steak and chips could do with some substantial greens other than a watercress garnish like peas or green beans or broccoli to make it a complete meal. The service was good and the staff very attentive. The atmosphere was also lovely to eat in. We generally enjoyed our lunch and would recommend it to others on a 7/10 score.

Wanted to take the time to leave our thanks for a wonderful Christmas Day meal. The manager, and our server Maddie, could not do enough for us, and it was all done with care and a smile. From calling us the day before to deal with an issue with pre-orders, to patiently assisting our 93 year old Nan, we felt very well looked after. The food was hot, delicious, and arrived in a timely fashion, which is quite something in a very busy pub and with us being a table of 11. Thank you very much. We appreciated all your efforts.

Heard it was highly rated for Sunday Roast so a group of us decided to give it a go. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and most found some room to squeeze in dessert, which were also really good! Definitely worth the small wait for our food.

Popped in as passing with some friends Friday afternoon. Was clean and tidy, nice spaces to relax. Great deal on a bottle of prosecco £15 after 5pm. Also meal deals. Food was prepared quickly, was fresh and well presented. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, told us about different offers. I'd like to return on an evening, I imagine it has a nice lively atmosphere.

A big pub with friendly staff who made me feel welcome. Dog friendly too. No onsite parking but it is in the town centre so it's understandable. There is pay parking about 5 mins walk.
