Went here to watch a gig. Great place to do this. Staff are really friendly. The inside DJ was really good. The outdoor venue for the gig was good and the sound excellent

What a boozer. Where else can you have a pint of Guinness at 12.30 in the afternoon while they play Aphex Twin? Boss staff. Boss booze. Boss music. Boss garage. Highly recommended

Came here as i like the alternative looking bars. Place was packed with football supporters when we got here but no one was rowdy or anything. Service was quick for how busy it was do no complaints there. Draught selection was good as it wasnt your normal drinks choice. Small little bar inside with a large outside area with plenty of seating. There is free WiFi here. It's located bit out of the way but is only a 5 minute walk from a few other nice bars as well.

Quirky pub in Digbeth. Good atmosphere and great pints. Love the aesthetic. Loads of vinyls, posters, photobooth, B&H Gold cigarette machine, outdoor beer garden, live sports, and music. Great pint of Guinness in here. A home fan's only pub on Blues Matchday's.

New years Eve waiting for a reservation. Great atmosphere had some nice ale and a long chat. Wasn't a fan of the really loud music when they started up getting ready for new years.

How could I possibly explain dead wax? It’s simply the best place in brum, I come here every weekend just cause I know that I am always gonna have a good time here, this a pub/bar/club that in my perspective is kinda edgy (something that I love), they have some special events some days and also sometimes live bands, if you like to enjoy a beer, good music, great people and great ambience look no more, this is the place

They've done well since becoming Dead Wax. Good bands come and play in the excellent upstairs space, looks like great drinking options downstairs inside and out in the courtyard. If the good bands keep playing (local as well as global), I'll kero travelling down

Lovely looking bar, inside is well decorated but sadly nothing as advertised. Website states they have vinyl records you can select and play however when we asked we were told they won't play them. Also the website states they have pizza but the staff informed us they haven't done food for a long time so we had to order from deliveroo. Not the most interesting selection of beer either, a bit of a let down on all fronts really.
