Booked a table 31st March. 2 pm. Friendly staff showed us to our table and helped us change for a window view. Drinks served readily and we accepted the larger carvery for a special occasion. 2.15 went up for the meals and were advised there would be a wait for the Beef as the previous one all used up. This turned into 1 hour and 5 minutes wait, decision then if we should stay or leave disappointed and find somewhere else to eat. We sat it out and waited as one guest only enjoyed beef which would have been an issue based on availability of meats. Finally @ 3.20 staff told us we could now go for the carvery. Meal was pleasant but still a bit of disappointment due to the prolonged wait. Not sure what the delay was for as the pub didn't seem overly busy. I could accept some wait if every table was in use and everyone were eating meals. After the meal and drinks staff did offer a complimentary coffee but we had to leave to meet up with family for a planned event. Sadly first time let down after many enjoyable meals and carverys previously. Photo perhaps held a clue?

Good value carvery with all the trimmings. The meat tastes great and is generously served. The establishment has a good selection of drinks that are all reasonably priced and the Sunday carvery is open until later then most which is useful if you want to eat out in the evening. I have taken off one star due to the toilet's having run out of toilet paper and hand soaps to which these should be inspected more regularly. Ticket no 8.

Just popped in for a quick lunch. Incredible value for money, all of the vegetables were fresh and hot the meat was carved to my liking. Welcoming friendly team. Iago who was serving the carvery was spot on. Asking if I'd prefer fatty or lean beef offering skin off the turkey great all round experience. It's a shame I can only give 5 stars.

We visited on new years day and we were blown away by the service from the moment we walked in to the pub. We were greeted by who I can only assume to be the manager who was polite and friendly and engaged with us and our children . When we ordered we went to get out carvery and were served by a polite young gentleman who was friendly and engaging . The food was amazing, fresh and plentiful 100% would visit again

Great food ,Only thing was when we ordered a kids meal no one said if we ordered a desert at the time it would be £5.49 Instead we paid £5.99 as we didn't order a desert so then when we went back for a desert with no prices on the menu except for the deal ,We had to pay £2.50 on top. We come here fairly often and have never been told this.

Great value for money. Good selection of veg and sauces. Meats I had (beef, gammon, pork) were cooked well. Definitely going to be my regular Sunday roast place.

Started going here last Tuesday for takeaways and really like there 'Daily Deals'. Particularly like you get a free drink and I've been having their vast choice of Liqueur Coffees, lovely. Butternut & chickpea burger with proper chips (not fries) one of my favourites. Staff really friendly. Good size carpark. Excellent pub & carvery, Sky TV Good choice for families and singles. I don't drink but if I did this would be my local.
