   A very warm welcome from the landlady, and a selection of well kept ales, plus regular ciders and lagers. Most definitely a locals pub, don't expect 5 star service, just a good honest boozer. Dog friendly, and there's a back room that has been made available for private events for no charge. Cobs and bar snacks available. For seasonal periods the interior is suitably decorated. Parking is the only negative, street parking only.

   Lovely pub and very friendly and welcoming and some very lovely bar staff. And very reasonable prices for drinks What makes it even more special is the fact it's dog friendly and a nice beer garden at the back

   I like this old school pub. Shame they blast cheesy music on the tv or put tv shows on instead of using a music system and tv on mute. Old style boozer with old style clientèle. Could be better but beer choice for ale drinkers is usually good.
