I asked for an americano, they asked if I wanted milk and I said no. Got on the train and realised they put cows milk in there and I am severely lactose intolerant so I couldn’t drink it. £3.70 down the drain, cheers.
Great service from one of the younger men here, always polite and professional. The prices are no different despite it being in a station, and never had any issue. This is my go to when visiting the city and waiting for trains.

Came a week or two ago. The lady working there was so lovely. Came after a long day at work in the evening and wanted a latte. She was very friendly and gave me one on the house and said I didn’t need to pay. Thank you. I appreciate it.
Usually a great little shop to get a drink from before your train, however on this occasion I ordered a tea and it was overflowing and leaking everywhere :[ I understand working in the food industry is difficult and none of the people there are to blame, however i scalded my hand several times as the cup leaking ended up breaking the cardboard sleeve. It is a safety hazard, and I would never usually complain about something like this as it might not happen often, however I feel like it’s something to note. brilliant service nonetheless, wonderful staff that are attentive and kind.

So I just popped to cafe Nero to get a coffee as I know I have a two hour journey home! Had a little chat with the girl who’s working and she was so lovely! I hope she gets some praise for her excellent customer service! Thank you for making my day!

This Caffe Nero is terrible. There was one shop keeper (a lady) at the shop making drinks and taking payment. After taking my order, she went to make the drinks and I have made my payment. When the drinks are made, she asked me to pay again. At that time, I thought the first transaction didn't go through and use my card to pay again. Later on, I realised there were 2 transactions at my card and went back to the shop. The shopkeeper didn't admit that I was charged twice and insisted that no refund can be made. This is terrible, I will not return to this shop again. As a loyal Caffe Nero customer, I am very upset about this and the ignorance of the shopkeeper.
I'm usually a fan of Caffè Nero, however the service I received at 9.30 on 18.09.21 was substandard. The toasted sandwich I bought was served cold and wasn't cut. Also the cappuccino I ordered was made with overheated skimmed milk rather than regular milk, so there was little foam. I think the Barista confused my order with the person after me. I understand that mistakes can be made and it is a high pressure environment so I am giving 2 stars. I will return to Caffe Nero but probably avoid the small kiosk ones from now on.
