I've been in 4 or 5 times since it became 'Sip & Sip' and tried different dishes each time. I've never left feeling hard done by. The food is great for the price, with decent portions and excellent flavours. It's been pretty quiet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings when I've visited, so if you want a mid-week quiet meal and drink, it's a great spot. Weekends or days with football matches it can be a bit busier but usually there's enough room to grab a table for some grub and a drink as far as I know.

EDIT *********i have had to edit my review from September as it wont let me put a new one up! Went back for 2nd visit last Sunday, walked in young lad didnt even acknowledge us. We grabbed a table, after 5 mins we walked out. Didnt speak a word. We bragged about how good the food and service was previously hence why we brought the rest of the family here. Staff need to be engaging, not just stand there and stare. The 1st visit in September I have no complaints about. Also shut the main door towards the toilet, no one wants to smell wee when they are going to order food! Sorry won't visit again, which is a shame as the food was good. Ive remarked the 5 stars of last visit to the latest visit. Please re train the young lad who was there that night, a smile and hello doesn't hurt. Your other bartender is fantastic the way he greeted and served us was top standard. ***** Visited here for the first time a month ago with my daughter and sister and with a friend who has been several times with her family. We were greeted on arrival by the man behind the bar. Drinks ordered and we looked at the menu to see what was available. Mix of curries. Asian fusion menu, noodles, kids menu, chips and naans, mixed grills, seafood. We ordered a large mixed grill, with battered masala chips and a separate portion of dry masala chips. This was more than enough for the 4 of us ladies. It arrived quite quickly. Quite tasty and the onions were nicely caramelised and not burnt as you get in some pubs. We ordered mains to share, punjabi lamb curry and paneer with garlic naans. I'd say the portions for the mains was quite small, especially for one person. Luckily we had had the mixed grill and chips earlier! Car parking is an issue here, as you're surrounded by yellow lines everywhere. We were lucky to get a space in the car park, which can hold about 10 cars. It was quiet, we were the only ones in there apart from 2 lads playing pool. One chap came in for a takeaway, 1 chap was eating in. But it was a Wednesday night and I believe they've not been open long. Would definitely visit again, the food was tasty, maybe just increase the curry portion. Staff member was friendly and its nice to be greeted and checked on a few times throughout the evening. The place has only been open since March i think, previously called The Coal Shed, so any reviews before that relate to the previous place. As it nearly put us off going! This visit i give 5 stars for service and 4 for food portions and atmosphere. Please read the part about our 2nd review which I've given 0 for.

Came here to watch the England game, dispite advertising "Sky Sports" they were more interested in having some music playing... claimed network issues buy YouTube for the music seems to be working fine. they had the ITV app could have streamed the app via that... I choose here as was looking for food, ended up in a desi pub in Dudley where I had the mixed grill.

Highly recommend Sip Sip Bar for their amazing mixed grills with outstanding lamb chops & garlic naan! Service is exceptional and this is our 3rd time we have been and has now become our regular go to place for a family sizzling mixed grill.

Great pub , very welcoming and clean . The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Food was delicious we ordered a mixed grill and a curry … both cooked to perfection. The only improvements I can think of is the pub could do with a drinks menu and it was a little warm so a few fans/ air conditioning would be great. But overall a very positive experience .

Nice little pub with a good atmosphere and very reasonable drink prices. The lady behind the bar was really welcoming and friendly and we had a good chat and she even pointed me and my friend in the direction of the best local curry house and she was not wrong! Good crowd of locals in here also, had a good crack over a few pints with them all and we will definitely be back next time we are local. Highly recommend to all as we tried all the other local pubs for a quick one and this was the best by quite a distance.

Pool table that wasn't a rip off. Friendly staff and locals and the cheapest pint of moretti I've ever had. A good size bet garden as well.
