My partner and I had beer here - a half pint of Citra and Paul had a pint and a half of a very good quality local beer. We’ve never eaten here, but we were given a handful of home-grown figs here at the end of the summer. Sort of a local for us as it’s near to where Paul lives in Halesowen…

I really loved it here. My brothers took me round their old stomping ground, a little quaint, unassuming pub on an estate. The barmaid was a great laugh, plenty of banter, they had a good choice of beers with a pretty reasonable price, the cheese and ham cob was delicious, and the extention on the back is a nice touch with a nice small garden, a cute little sun trap with some nice outdoor furniture. I wish more old school boozers existed like this and put the effort in. Lovely atmosphere from the locals and real credit to the people who run the place.
Excellent real ale pub offering a good selection of ales locally and further afield. Staff are great and always happy to serve with a very jovial atmosphere. Can get busy at weekends so get in early to secure a seat in the traditional bar or lounge area. Terraced outdoors which is good for summer. Highly recommended.
Our favourite local. Good selection of beers and ales which are changed on a regular basis. Friendly staff including the new managers!
