“Great selection of ciders and ales, good cobs and the staff are great and have good knowledge of all their vast selection. For a small bar it's got a great atmosphere and the punters in there were a more mature crowd than you'd find at you big name breweries”
“Mai meals looked good and the filled Cobs were delicious. Lots of tasty real ales to choose from Lovely friendly atmosphere with a nice fire going.”
“I was locked outside my house with my daughter so took refuge in this pub. Sarah was so lovely and welcoming and even told me to go back if I couldn't get in. Everytime I've been here she's been a delight. The pub has a nice atmosphere and is always clean”

“Didn't make a reservation so we sat at the bar but still ordered like normal. Whilst waiting for food we ate from the unlimited salad bar with plenty of options. The food was delicious and filling. For the pudding we had a kid portion of Belgian chocolate brownie which was nice and rich, better if it had a small portion of ice-cream. The brownie took a while to come out even though we asked twice. Overall delicious food and would come here again.”
“Local bar, great place to meet friend excellent beer.”

“Came here to do a catch up with family. Very popular local pub and great food. The Turkey, Ham and Leek pie was brilliant and so much. Completely stuffed - will come again soon.”
“Food alone doesn't make a restaurant; the welcome and service goes a long way too. Hilal and the team at the Ameena were charming. Advising us on veggie options and taking seriously our nut allergy dining options. The paneer was sublime in our balti and the stuffed pepper and onion bhaji starters were delicious. Our new local - where we were welcomed like old friends.”
“Great micro bar, good selection of drinks and great atmosphere with friendly drinkers and staff”
“Great local pub, brewing it's own ales and offering some fabulous food, cooked by a passionate kitchen team... always guaranteed a warm welcome”
“Nice little pub with a homely feel inside, there’s a good choice of ales as well.”
“Still a cracking pub. Great atmosphere and lovely selection of ales.”
“Within The Hare and Hounds you have a place called Bad Boy Wings, me and friends tried a combination of all their wings all very much had their own style of taste, and all very nice juicy and fresh but my personal favourite were the Korean BBQ wings star of the show for me, I also had a double smash cheeseburger with like a mustard dressing worked very well and the pint of Cruzcampo wasn’t half bad either, service was good and quick highly recommend.”
“One of the best Black Country pubs around. No fuss, no frills, good beer on tap(Bathams), good food, excellent beer garden, dogs restricted to some indoor space and welcomed, locals use this pub adding to a very pleasant atmosphere. Give it a try.”
“Fantastic real ale pub, ample clean pumps, selection of cobs, sausage rolls and pork pies. Good outdoor space.”
“Just had a superb roast at the Loyal Lodge. The food was outdtanding and service was excellent, making you feel like nothing was too much trouble even when we asked to change tables. The mash, roast spuds and baby carrots were the highlights for me.....and obviously the meats. Sadly no room for pud. Lovely place, nice atmosphere with good beer.”
“Nice atmosphere and very good service. All the staff is very polite and friendly. Delicious braised fish in the Cameroon way and generous portion too that can feed 2 people. Nice beers available like imported Guinness and Leffe for a fair price.”
“Can't raye food as didn't have any. Went on night out with lads, wicked music, couldn't get off the dancing vibe all night, a night well needed... Halloween night”
“Celebrated my son’s christening here a few weeks back. Had such a great day. The staff were all soooo friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. The buffet was amazing and they decorated the pub perfectly. They made our day extra special and could not be more grateful. Highly recommend”
“Got thrown off the train last night at Rowley Regis station (not my fault). Didn't have a clue where I was. Got google maps out on my phone and started walking towards BlackHeath. Walking? Thirsty work! Came across the Clock Inn and thought why not! Popped in had a pint. What a brilliant pub with both the staff and the "regulars" all being really friendly. Wish I lived a lot closer.”
“Great little local pub, great atmosphere, real fire, love this place.”
“Had a great night out at this Pub 15 12 2017 with friends from work sadly it was a leaving do for Dazzle, you will be missed. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Ps prices are good.”
“Good place to socialise, bar staff are very friendly, polite, good customer service. Sunday afternoon's have entertainment, with very good singers, where everyone joins in, and has a dance, followed by karaoke. Well worth a visit.”
“Well, what can I say? From the second we entered we were made to feel like regulars and friends by a fantastic young man. He recommended the seating to be comfortable because i am disabled and a real ale which was delicious. The food was amazing. Piping hot and great quality. I had the sea bass which was beautiful and came with 2 generous fillets and a king prawn sauce with loads of whole prawns in it! My brother in law and my sister had pork belly and 10oz rib eye. He said his was best pork he had ever had and my sis was over the moon with her steak although it was very slighty over medium, which she ordered but it wasnt an issue. All the veg was to die for, fresh and al dente with good bite. We chose the Swallows from a quick google dive for Pauls birthday and were so glad we did. Yes, it is a little more on the pricey side for us but in my book worth every penny especially for a treat. So a big thank you to the amazing staff and we will return.”
