Had a beautiful Christmas meal today cant fault the food compliments to the chef. However when we arrived which was on time, we waited 20 minutes before we had a drink. A table of people arrived after us and got there drinks and food before us. Waitress service wasnt the best felt like my pudding was throwed on the table rather than taking care, also had to ask twice for cuttlery for soup and pudding. Very slow service but the good thing was we was not rushed. Be aware we had a £47.00 service charge added which i kindly asked to be removed considering our whole bill was already £487.00 but thus did include 4 xmas dinners which was 3 course good value for money.

We came today and I have no clue why it was different. I’ve been here a few times and the service has never been so bad. We ordered a berthing as normal. We had long finished our food and our drinks aswell, the staff continued to walk past without doing anything, brought us more drinks, ignored the pile of plates and glasses. Tore themselves away from the table when being spoken to, overall horrendous customer service. Steak was cold and not cooked to what we asked for. Overall everything else was nice just a bit disappointing.

came in a few weeks ago with my mom and dad. the atmosphere was incredible. services was so quick and the food was amazing. we came in on a Sunday was seen to almost immediately and the service was amazing. our server was called chelsey and there was a young boy called milo who was so polite and very sweet. them two communicated amazing with each other and made our experience better by making jokes with us and making us have a laugh. hats off to them. both very polite funny young people.

Well, what can I say? From the second we entered we were made to feel like regulars and friends by a fantastic young man. He recommended the seating to be comfortable because i am disabled and a real ale which was delicious. The food was amazing. Piping hot and great quality. I had the sea bass which was beautiful and came with 2 generous fillets and a king prawn sauce with loads of whole prawns in it! My brother in law and my sister had pork belly and 10oz rib eye. He said his was best pork he had ever had and my sis was over the moon with her steak although it was very slighty over medium, which she ordered but it wasnt an issue. All the veg was to die for, fresh and al dente with good bite. We chose the Swallows from a quick google dive for Pauls birthday and were so glad we did. Yes, it is a little more on the pricey side for us but in my book worth every penny especially for a treat. So a big thank you to the amazing staff and we will return.

I know this pub really well, as I live locally and always take my parents or friends there. Amazing atmosphere and spectacular views from the terrace. Food is delicious too.

Visited today for lunch. Enjoyed sitting outside because of the weather. Food was lovely! Ordered olives to start which were delicious, the pork belly main and the jackfruit wrap. All presented and prepared lovely. Enjoyed the overall experience - did notice outside was quite untidy- there were at least 6 tables with plates and glasses on and no one sitting at them - however our plates were removed quite quickly which was good. Will return

Never had a bad visit to the Swallows Nest. Prices aren't cheap but always a nice treat. 2 quality cocktails for £12 went down well though. Lovely to visit in the winter when the fires going or in the summer when the terrace with its view is a favourite. Food quality is good and look forward to returning

Was just passing on a Sunday afternoon, weren't any availability inside but luckily the weather wasn't too bad so we were able to have a table outside. All ordered online via the app so I can't really comment on the service. Food was beautifully presented. Would like to return to try other items on the menu.

We found this place just off the M5 after coming back from a overnight break, & decided to pick due to other good reviews. We were definitely not disappointed, at all. On our arrival the pub was busy, but they were still able to accommodate us. For starters we chose the following; Duo of Pate, which was tasty & plenty of Pate too. The other was the Soup of the Day, this being mixed veg, very satisfying indeed. Finally for Main Course, we chose the following; Hunter’s Chicken Schnitzel, perfectly cooked & just the right portion size. And the other was the Spices Lamb Koftas, perfect seasoning, ingredients & layout. It was an obvious local favourite, & if we are coming by this way in the future, then we will definitely be stopping.
