   I met my two friends here last night for our monthly meal out and we had the roast turkey xmas meal with a dessert. All 3 of us were really impressed, the food was beautiful and plenty big enough. I had to take my xmas pudding home with me i was that full which i had for breakfast this morning lol, beautiful also. Staff very helpul and friendly. The pub soon filled up for the weekly quiz and was fun to see people in xmas costumes. We will definitely be returning. Mel x

   Excellent in every way. All the young ladies on the bar were delightful. Friendly and polite. Servers were lovely too. We had the lite bites £6.95 each. Bargain and absolutely delicious. I had the gammon, egg and chips, partner had the haddock goujons with salad. Cooked perfectly and obviously freshly done to order. Others had jerk chicken salad and a lasagne. No complaints at all, not even a quibble about anything. Pub itself comfortable, nice atmosphere and nicely decorated for Halloween. Easy 10 out of 10 on everything and 100% will go back for more food. Thank-you staff and chef/s for a very pleasant lunch A*

   Very busy pub, I would recommend always prebooking. Meals are fantastic. The pub itself is quite loud - not from music though- just the amount of people and atmosphere. The staff are lovely. Friday and Saturday evenings are obviously the busiest/loudest and can be a longer wait for food but that's to be expected. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes meals. We have never had a bad meal here.

   Just had a superb roast at the Loyal Lodge. The food was outdtanding and service was excellent, making you feel like nothing was too much trouble even when we asked to change tables. The mash, roast spuds and baby carrots were the highlights for me.....and obviously the meats. Sadly no room for pud. Lovely place, nice atmosphere with good beer.

   Had a lovely visit to The Lodge yesterday. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Was extremely busy but they managed to sort us out a table for 4 and also welcomed our dog. The food was amazing and not too expensive either. Thanks to all the staff. Keep up the great work. Will definitely be coming back.

   Went sat 12 Nov. Clean and tidy. Took family in who came some distance to visit. Had the steak and ale pie, mushy peas and chips. Very nice. The others had fish and chips again they said was nice. Also partner had steak salad which he said was nice. Staff friendly found us a table quickly. Would go again.

   We eat here most weekends, and I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal! The food is absolutely unreal, and always 10/10 on presentation. It's all fresh food, and the menu offers something for everyone! Never had a better meal than at the lodge. There's also a lovely play area out the back for kids. Such a gem!

   Been a few times recently. Both when they had a bouncy castle and we went to have some dinner with friends. The beer is good quite open area so in the sunshine is brilliant. Nice little play area to keep he kids occupied. We found the food reasonable and really good. The burger I had the first time was really good.

   This place was a pleasant surprise, ended up booking here after a few places we tried were fully booked and honestly it was a blessing in suprise. Staff were nice, drinks reasonably prices and the food was really good and generous portion sizes too. Highly reccomend and will be back for another visit soon!
