Absolutely fantastic heritage pub split across two halves. Phenomenal historic interior to be found inside. Always a friendly welcome from the staff here. Make sure you try the Black Widow beer!

Nice quiet pint of real ale. Food is of a high quality, presented well and freshly cooked. 5 or 6 ales all brewed on premises. Cheapest is only £3 a pint and they range in strength and darkness. Wine is also well priced per glass .

Excellent ales (brewed on the premises) and good food too. I recommend the hot pork sandwich highly. Support your local pub, many of them (including this one) are struggling financially at the moment)

Well what can I say, its always looked an unassuming little place but is crammed full with character and characters. If you want propped home cooked food with real flavour and piping hot then book yourself a table and give it a try, don't forget a designated driver to sample their own brewed ales as well. Limited choices for veggies but food is so good.

I don't go here often due to me being an hour away. But when I do visit here I always have a cracking time. Cracking beer with good people. I also caught the eye of a decent bird whilst I was in there. But alas...... ring on me finger ay there hahahah. Hopefully this pub continues to be a strong beer house for years to come. It's should be treasured.
