Went here for a meal.found they had a kids play area that I didn't know about but my daughter who has ADHD didn't have to be told to sit still which she struggles with so while we ordered she went to play in soft play area untill our orders was ready

We had an excellent night watching Quill in concert. They were awesome as usual and the venue was spot on Lovely venue with a great atmosphere and lovely friendly staff. If you are local this venue deserves your attention.

We chose this restaurant due to the soft play area and the proximity to the motorway We were not disappointed at all the food was lovely, service was 100% and the pricing was amazing for the amount of food you get. The tomato soup was beautiful, my only con for the soup was that it came with a slice on bread rather than a small roll but it's only a minor thing and personal preference Myself and my husband both had the Smothered platter. We underestimated the side of this meal and I couldn't finish it (disappointed in myself haha) I had 2 cocktails which were lush! And 2 for £10 is a great deal. We are due to go to London in October and are hoping to return the Guild on our way down south

We both had the special offer of 2 courses for £13.99. Delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings and chicken liver and brandy pate with slice of brown bloomer bread toasted and balsamic onion confit for starters. Great service and food came out hot and arrived quickly. Would definitely recommend for good value!

To be honest if I could rate it a 0 I would. I’m not one for negative reviews but I think that people need to be aware before wasting money. The service was absolutely awful and the staff we encountered were extremely moody. I was given a chipped glass which has cut my lip as I didn’t notice until it was too late. We went for the carvery but when we arrived we were told they didn’t have any, received no apology. We didn’t have any food in the end as in our opinion all the other food is awful. Also bumped into another couple who were desperately trying to find a staff member as there just seemed to be none around. I highly recommend going somewhere else if you want a pleasant time.

Arrived 30 minutes early to our booking. Table was already ready. Order two chicken burgers + soft drinks for £30ish. Food came within minutes and I mean lightning quick. My burger and chips were stone cold. The chips were tasteless. It was so quick that we left the pub at the time we were meant to have arrived! 30 minutes for sitting, ordering, eating! Shame as I used to enjoy coming here with my family many years ago.

Friendly staff but awful food. Been feeling unwell since I had it yesterday. The smothered chicken burger was mostly dry and sweet potato fries were bland and overcooked, didn’t even finish them. Won’t be returning.

Avoid ! Visited on a Sunday when clearly they had been very busy and I suspect they are very understaffed. BUT the atmosphere is clearly couldn't care less with no engagement with customers. All tables full of dirty dishes and the under pressure barman making a half hearted to clear a few at the time. The puddings are barely adequate and expensive for what they are and Costa should be ashamed to put their name to the self service coffee which is barely identifiable as coffee.
