We had a brilliant evening at the Oak! The staff were friendly, organized, and always willing to help. Special thanks to Andrew and Bill for their incredible support and attention to detail. We highly recommend this venue for any type of event.

The function room here is beautiful. Hot plates to keep cooked food warm. A stage for a speaker for your own music and a balloon arch which we had for a baby shower. The decor of the room is stylish. Plus had radiators which kept the room warm as it was cold outside. The main man bill and also Mark were great hosts calm and friendly.. There's an outdoor parking and smoking area. Close to bus and train
The food we had was fantastic. We had a pizza it was very tasty can’t wait to go back.
Great local friendly pub been using it a year or more now!! Great prices and drinks! And the food is excellent well worth a visit!
Had a few pints here in the past when I was single. Not a bad pub, good bar and lounge, it even has a large function room for hire. Like for weddings and birthday party's .
Friendly landlord and staff. Great tunes playing on Friday night. My wife left her bag by mistake but I managed to get it back. Drinks reasonable price but didn't like plastic glasses though ,so only 3 stars.

The outside looks fabulous. Dont get me wrong. But when you go in it is dreary and dull and very quiet as if youre not welcome. I was told by the owner that the function room holds 150+, when i get there it looks like it can barely hold 50. I asked how many does it seat and he said 60. I was put off immediately due to false advertisement but then he tries to say that the room once held around 300 people. I think that was either a lie or they seriously broke health and safety regulations. Not the friendliest of staff either.
