Mr. Kamruzaman was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me — I can’t thank him enough. The rest of the staff were also polite, professional, and efficient. I had heard from others that the service might be poor and the staff unfriendly, but my experience was completely the opposite. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and supportive, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my visit and appreciate the excellent service provided. This was my second visit to the Bangladesh High Commission in Manchester, and once again, I was very pleased with the experience. Parking was convenient, and I didn’t have to worry about finding a space. The team members were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. They take the time to deal with each visitor carefully and respectfully. The facilities are well maintained and the waiting area is spacious, the toilets are clean, and there are amenities such as a prayer room and water service available. The only thing missing is a coffee machine and it would be a nice touch for visitors who travel from far away. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Deputy High Commissioner and the entire team for their excellent service and prompt support. Keep up the great work! Many thanks for your dedication and professionalism.

Found everyone really polite and helpful which is very rare in Govt offices. Good response via email and WhatsApp. My advice for improvement is to extend the office hour and add on capacity to work over the weekend (Atleast Saturday).This can be really helpful for the people who’s coming from distant places. And please appoint a call operator! Nobody received the phone call ever!

I went there to renew my passport. The generosity and cooperation I received from them are impeccable. I should certainly mention that, even in Bangladesh, we barely think of receiving such warm greetings. I was there for around 1 hour to complete my application and necessary proceedings. I observed their greeting with others as well, and I found every member was so helpful and approachable.

Recently I needed to use their services. Their response to emails were prompt and helpful. I was able to book appointment for document drop off for the next working day. On the day itself, the counter staff were courteous, polite, and professional. They were also helpful, particularly as all 4 application needed amendments. I received my passports with NVR on the 5 working, which is 1 week earlier than their stated timeframe. This is excellent. Although I have awarded 5 stars, I would have preferred to give 9/10 or 4.5 stars as I did encounter some challenges. These were: 1. Telephone Access The telephone service is not manned and after waiting a long time it disconnects. This is very frustrating and portrays the mission and Bangladesh in a negative connotation. The mission could consider either mapping the phone line, or if that is not feasible, then perhaps don't offer direct phone line to public but offer telephone consultation booking service, whereby public book a call on an online calendar from the High Commission staff. 2. The Online Application Software The software is very old and very slow, and some questions are duplicated. Moreover, the software simply does not respond if unaccepted characters are used; it would be useful to provide appropriate onscreen error message or at least provide better guidance. I appreciate the mission does not control the software directly, but the mission should feedback to centre. Notwithstanding the above above 2 shortcomings, I feel the overall service was very good and worthy of 9/10 or 4.5 stars.

My experience in Manchester office was excellent. From the entry to reception to paper submit and the other helps from other people, overall was a blessing. I was scared and expecting rude behaviour from the employees if i didnot bring all the papers correct. They are so so so helpful and co-operative and genuine. They deserve so much appreciation and respect. I am super impressed and happy.
