   Staff are lovely. I do like this pub a lot it's not very big, but it is friendly. The staff are nice. Had the roast dinner today. It was good value for the money. The only thing that could have been better was the mash. It was on the lumpy side. But I would go again.

   1st time visiting after a recommendation from a a friend. Went with a group from work this evening for a Christmas meal and what a meal it was, 4 courses for a mind bogling £10. Warm welcome in a cosy little pub and great home cooked food, meals were plentiful we all left with full tums, everyone commented on what great value the meals were. We will definitely be returning in the new year. This pub is a little gem.

   Amazing little pub with a big heart......not many places I've eaten at that still warms your plate like my gramps instisted on back in the day. You'll find tasty food with excellent hospitality, turn up early or book in advance to avoid disappointment.
