This was comparable to a 1 star Michelin restaurant with the bonus of being a lot lot cheaper. The presentation was faultless the dishes were spot the only slight niggle being my Thai sauce could have had a slightly more kick to it. The venison was perfectly cooked and substantial, desserts great with the crumble deserving special mention. All in all a great experience with special thanks to your staff and Elicia sorry about the spelling? Thank you and will see you soon

5*s is not enough! We stumbled across the bell & cross whilst searching for somewhere special to have a meal for 23 following our wedding ceremony. We met with the team who made us feel so welcome from the first visit & designed a 3 course menu especially for us. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was. The whole bell & cross family made our day truly special & we will forever be thankful. We will now always be regulars ❤️

Went to the Bell-and Cross for a catch up with my sister, we had a lovely warm welcome and were given a lovely cosy table, plenty of room. We took advantage of an offer of two ‘pub classic’ meals for £30, and both chose bacon chop with eggs, chips and peas which was delicious and a real upgrade on gammon with egg. We were rather full so shared a bread and butter pudding with custard which was so light and fluffy, it was a bit like a soufflé! No rush but no waiting, lovely bottle of wine and a very reasonable price! I’ve been to this pub/restaurant before and each time has been a delight. Great food, wonderful staff who are really accommodating, highly recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night. The food was all beautifully presented and delicious. Service was smooth and friendly. Even the chef came out for a chat and checked if we had enjoyed our meal. It was our first time here but won't be the last.

We had a fantastic night with our friends and we dined in a lovely festive room shared only with one other table. Great service, friendly staff and the food was gorgeous. I would recommend their Chistmas menu.

Our third lunch at this superb dining pub, ideally situated between the M40 and Shropshire. Staff and service are genuine, warm and friendly. The starters were excellent and the marinated salmon main was a winner, the hake was lost in a bowl of cream. We will definitely return, it’s a real treat to eat here.

Genuinely one of the best roast dinners I’ve eaten out ever. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, including for a baby of 1 and the food was incredible. Pictured is the Pork Belly Roast and there are amazing sides to add. Ask for extra gravy, you’ll want it because it tastes so good! Highly recommend for family or friends getting together. Lovely atmosphere with smaller rooms for an intimate dining experience.
