The most traditional of the 4 listed 2025 Good Beer Guide pubs on the Amblegate triangle. A true local with an abundance of cask ales on sale all reasonably priced. Marvel at all the bottled beers displayed on the delft rails around the front rooms - all sadly now well out of date.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Robin Hood Inn, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! This delightful pub offers a remarkable selection of well-kept cask beers, catering perfectly to beer aficionados (like myself!. Each pint was expertly poured, showcasing the establishment's dedication to quality and flavor. However, the true charm of the Robin Hood Inn lies in its inviting atmosphere. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in a cozy ambiance that added to the pub's character. It was the ideal setting for a leisurely afternoon with family. What truly stood out, though, was the warm hospitality extended by the bar staff and the friendly locals. Whether I was seeking recommendations on their beer selection or engaging in conversation with fellow patrons, I felt like a valued member of the community. The genuine camaraderie made my visit to the Robin Hood Inn an experience to remember. In summary, if you're searching for a pub with excellent beer, a cozy environment, and welcoming company, look no further than the Robin Hood Inn. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to bask in the convivial atmosphere once more!
