   We visited early Wednesday afternoon as we heard from friends how lovely this pub was, we were not disappointed! Me and my wife both had the premium cob, which we both really enjoyed. The pub was wonderful and the young barmaid that served us was a delight and very friendly to talk to. We will be visiting again, hopefully with more friends in the near future

   Popped in for a pint and a cob today with the hubby. We were offered the special a hot pork cob with all the trimmings which we had along with a portion of chips it was all delicious and good value too. The new manager is very welcoming and friendly we will definitely be returning there.

   Great night spent enjoying the, " but a bottle of wine and get a cheese board free". Good selection of three cheeses on each board, grapes, olive, gherkins and pickled onions are included, with biscuits too. It's a great offer, so a few more biscuits maybe too much to ask. It was a very busy night, no significant delays, however, a little disappointed to have run out of plates and knives. I managed with a paper serviette and a fork. Maybe purchase some disposable kit as an acceptable back up for future busy summer nights.
