My dad ordered beef stew and dumplings, lovely service how ever….. it arrived looking like my cat had just thrown up on the plate. The beef the middle of the beef was hard, I mean hard hard.. like chuck norris hard, the rock hard, unlike any old man this thing was hard. I could have filled the pot hole outside my house with it, it was that hard.
Food is low quality even for the low price. Flies all over the place. Menu choice is pitiful - no hot meals for adults, just warmed up sandwiches and chips. Store Manager dumped their rubbish on my table while I was ordering. Would not recommend.
This cafe is so rarely open and serving food when they say they are. Always found them cheery during the day but come the afternoon it is just can't-be-bothered-to-be-open bingo. If you need to feed your kids tea and then do the shop, go elsewhere or you'll most likely have hungry toddlers on your hands round the supermarket!
Got told after waiting to be noticed the till wasn't working can't serve me for at least 10 mins sat down looked up lady was being served asked why got told she was a regular I said so was I as I come once a week I was reluctantly serverd didn't bother with food just drinks because of the attitude also could she let me know how much the 2 drinks were got told couldn't do it because till. Not working so I went to price list on wall worked it out and then gave the right cash . I have worked for a big supermarket running there cafes and we would of used pen paper and a calculator and a key for the draw
