Went there on my lunch break. Atmosphere is very friendly, definitely a locals place where everyone knows each other which was really refreshing and created an atmosphere of community and inclusivity. I ordered myself two of the steak sandwiches off the specials board at £5 each (which is very a reasonable price these days especially given the high quality of the steak used) the food was really good and the steak wasn’t dry or chewy and I could tell high quality produce used. Refreshing change from all the chain cafes these days and the food is superb 10/10 would recommend

Came past before our big walk which was just what we needed. (We visited in june but have kept forgetting to do a review) Christine was so welcoming, friendly and chatty and super helpful. Such a sweet homely local cafe. Excellent prices for great portions. The coffee wasn’t the best but my partner enjoyed his (im just picky dont expect anything fancy). She let him have two different coffees at no extra charge because he couldn’t decide which is so sweet. She also didn’t charge for my baby’s food which we were so thankful for. Lots of toys for my little one to play with at the table which is appreciated as we didnt have any with us. Food was delicious. Tiny place so would struggle with chair or wheelchair unfortunately. Would absolutely love to come again when we’re in the area. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Called in this cafe for food and drink. Can't comment on the food because has we walked in my husband was bit by dog which was not under control the owner didn't seem to be bothered ! the owner of the ðog must be a regular In there didn't seem to be bothered and then but the muzzle on the dog. took my husband to hospital were he had to have a injection and antibiotics. I will Definitely not be going there ever again

Excellent café, with great food, excellent prices. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. We stopped here on a canal walk, and it was perfect. There are lots of interesting things to look at, which adds to the atmosphere. No toilet. Highly recommended.
