   I was served by kieran yesterday evening (19/12) to buy a noco gb80 jump start. I used a tradesmans membership card off my phone and he accepted it. Initially i wanted the battery replaced but he said he cant do it in one hour which is strange as it was done in 10 mins today. Today i displayed the same tradesmans membership card from my phone but was rejected by store manager as he states thats in their policy to not accept it off the phone. Kieran, you could’ve done the job yesterday and your manager wouldn’t have found out but after this i will also be putting in a formal complaint. You can’t use rules and policies when they suit you. Or maybe it was because i went alone today and yesterday it was my fiance with me…

   Customer service is amazing. The worker who dealt with me showed genuine customer care and escorted me to the item making sure it was the correct one. It was just a mirror that required replacing and I would have found it myself in the end, but the way the employee was, made me feel valued as a customer.

   Service I received here was first class. Car had a flat battery and I managed to get to the store but was very stressed. Staff completely took control. Explained options, talked everything through and fitted new battery quickly and efficiently. Cannot fault the 3 staff members. A lady and 2 men. Excellent service.

   Had the worse customer experience I’ve had for a long time @ the Walsall store. Senior staff (who was derogatory and patronising) as well as the unhelpful store manager (withholding names to prevent embarrassment) - both of whom were out of step with the companies own returns policy. Instead, these 2 individuals took it on themselves to blame me for a poor qualify product that was not fit for purpose (it broke whilst being fitted in front of them and I followed the fitting instructions). I was told, by the store manager, to contact customer service to find out what to do - who, after 15 mins on-line, quite rightly said I could return the item for a full refund if I was not happy with the quality of the product. Such a shame this experience - put me off using Halfords in future & got them a poor Google rating - all over a poor quality item, worth £17

   I’ve been to this branch on a few occasions and find the staff on the tills nonchalant. Rarely a ‘hello, or ‘Sorry to keep you waiting.’ But one particular time a customer was particularly rude towards me and pushed in front. The staff turned a blind eye. When I spoke to the assistant that served me, he shrugged his shoulders and claimed he didn’t see anything. Even when I told his about how upset I was, there was no conversation, again a shrug to show it’s not his problem. I left there absolutely seething. I know he saw as he looked up when I was spoken to. Harshly might I add.

   Just off the Broadway in Walsall by the football ground. Plenty of free parking available and couple of disabled bays right by the entrance. Fitting bay just outside and they have a marquee up so can fit items in any weather. I ordered a battery on line ( nice simple process ) and was ready 12 hrs later to collect. Opted out of the £15 fitting charge as it's a straight swap ( if It was a £5 I'd probably go for it - something to think about Halfords ) not to busy around 5pm ish on a Monday evening. But only 1 cashier on the till with a small queue. Ideal place for all your motoring needs, oil, wipers, stereos, paint, Garage tools etc etc. Decent range of touring and cycling items to suit all budgets. Would recommend for your motoring needs.
