Absolutely terrible, ordered a burger it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen, like burnt thin processed protein fibres. Went back in and asked for my money back, the first younger lady behind the counter took one look at it and said, “oh yes” then the older woman with black hair behind the counter who was on the till and the moment process the refund, didn’t even apologise so clearly this is the standard of food they accept to serve. She was very rude and clearly annoyed I was asking for a refund. I would have been embarrassed to serve this to a customer. The food is served in a polystyrene box, I took the burger out the box and asked if I should just throw it in the bin. She then took a chip from the side and threw it in my box, which I removed. She then threw it back in again. I said no I want the chips and she huffed and said “I’ve refunded you for those” and tried to snatch them out my hand. Unbelievably poor service. I did then slam the burger on the side and said I wouldn’t feed that to my dog! I was just very frustrated by the poor service, poor food and lack of apology. In any other service industry most people would probably have said keep the chips as an apology anyway. Absolutely awful.

Surley staff and a customer "vaping" at the counter. My burger arrived in a polystyrene container gulp ... the burger must have been cooked hours ago as it was like a circular piece of leather slapped on top of a cold piece of processed cheese with a lettuce leaf and some onion under it. It was awful. To make matters worse it all had to be eaten with a wooden knife and fork. It's the worst cafe I have been to in a very long time. Ps the man behind the counter was picking his ear then serving customers...GROSS

Overall is good. Its small cafe, basic things available. Chips was very oily ( we had 6 portions for kids who where on a picnic). The staff weren't friendly neither smiling. We also bought coffee, the sizes are really small for regular and large, they are in fact small and regular in other places. However, the coffee was nice and tasty.

Expensive food and drink and miserable staff, they forgot our hot food order despite paying for it. When I chased this up, staff were very rude and unfriendly despite showing them that I paid for it…no apology whatsoever. It’s a shame as it could be such a good cafe in a great location.

Was over charged, food was expensive and tasteless. Plus card machine was “broken”.

Reasonable prices and a good selection of food on offer. Much improved seating outside. Toilet facilities and parking at the side of the cafe.

Dreadful! No bacon and egg butty, so had to make do with bacon only. Bread cake was as dry as a bone and the bacon had dried-out too. One star as the coffee was okay. However, no milk in the tea. I can only guess that it’s not a private enterprise. Could be so much better.
