   The food was disgusting, I had the sausage and mash, which was cold, I couldn't even cut the sausage, it was rock hard and dried out, the mash had obviously been microwaved and the peas straight out of a tin, not even warmed, my sister had a small breakfast, the beans were stone cold, bacon wasn't cooked and the egg was hard boiled , the coffee machine didn't work, neither did the soft drinks dispenser so we had to buy bottles , the staff just stood about talking, will never eat there again, the whole cafe was filthy, need health inspector in there

   Not a nice place anymore. Tables are not clean, the chairs have sauce and other bits of food on them, (been there a wile, wasn't from today you could tell.) Staff member behind me telling another customer who i think she knew, that the steamer is held shut with the bin when we use it because its broken. You could here the staff from the kitchen screaming at each other. Then the breakfast came, looked ok but tasted horrible. Scrambled egg was dry, my wife's poched egg could of been used as a dog ball. Hash brown's were basically black. Black pudding could of been used as a hockey puck. Mushrooms looked like they had been cooked 5 times and tasted like bottom of a chip pan. £26.60 for 2 breakfast with extras and 2 drinks that we left most of. Stay away until they have sorted out!

   Although the food was good, there were no condiments available to use (ketchup, mayo, salad cream) which made my bland salad extremely tasteless. Also the cutlery was all stained and even when I tried to clean it up myself with vinegar (one of the few condiments available) the stains would not budge. Additionally, when the fire door was opened by a member of public the noise from the alarm burst my ear drum and I was left with a ringing in my ear for day and damaged ear drum. There was no apology from the staff and the staff continued to open the fire door which meant the alarm kept going off. All they needed to do was apologise and I would have been happy but there was nothing. Really saddend by my experience today.

   Absolutely diabolical. 1. Service was awful. The woman who served us was very rude 2. Cutlery was dirty and cups had lipstick marks 3. Had a full English breakfast. Most of it was inedible. Huge black burnt mushroom. Egg was freezing cold and absolutely tasteless. Was practically rubber. Bacon could have done with a lot longer and was so fatty. Random full tomato that could have at least been fried a bit. The plate was absolutely swimming in grease. Mostly from the egg. It was horrible. Toast was very cold. Sausage was ok but can tell it was frozen, not fresh. Only nice thing on the plate was the hash brown. 4. The tables and chairs are all dirty and sticky. There is a staff member who just walks around doing nothing and clearly doesn’t clean the tables properly. Won’t come again. Needs major improvement Wasn’t just a bad day either as we Came another time and the burger was as hard as iron

   Would give minus if could ordered a simple pouched eggs on toast and a hot chocolate not hard to do first the hot chocolate on the machine wasn't working staff nows as lady on till told me but nothing on machine and you can see its just the pot on top needs filling so got a coffee that's cold and tastes more like water that coffee they then bring food out 2 hard cold dry slices of toast with 2 things that look like the shape of half a kinder egg on plate even colder than toast and coffee but thought I'd give it a try as long as they cooked properly so cut into them and more like hard boiled eggs and when I take them back was told they get them like that they just warm them up sorry but they couldn't even manage that today massive fail worst place to eat EVER

   Why do they cram a big breakfast on a cold small plate, food hanging off the edge isn't very appetising and it's a good job we had a bottled cold drink, the post drink glasses were the filthiest I've ever see

   We have been to morrisons cafe barn field staveley twice in the last two weeks and it has been horrible food. We have been eating there for years and always enjoyed it but it has really gone down hill. The first time we past off as a bad day but when trying again last week it was even worse. We both had all day breakfasts . The sausages looked like they were from breakfast (this was tea time) the large mushroom was dry and rubbery. 1 rasher of cardboard bacon. Beans that were thick and old and the spread on the toast tasted sour. A small half of shrivelled up tomato. Completed it. We have always loved morrisons food but won't be going again in a hurry.
