   Kitchen was installed nearly 3 years ago and since then, we've had 3 complete replacement doors and cabinet ends because the white gloss wrapping peels after 6 months. Still waiting for the final two doors to be replaced again. +50 telephone calls, +20 deliveries, countless emails - the saga goes on. About to commence legal proceedings. Beware, the prices quoted are absurdly high and even it takes 5 or 6 attempts, they will reduce the quotation to get the sale. Read everything you sign because the kitchen materials are separate to the fitter cost i.e. the customer is paying the fitter direct and arguably, contracting direct. On balance, good solid cabinets but beware, after sales service is appalling.

   After changing my mind on a £20,000 kitchen they said we had 14 days to cancel and get a deposit refund. Guess what, they haven't refunded a penny. Legal action being sought with the support of my credit card company. Unless you are sure you want to proceed, do not give any money to these robbing cowboys.

   I bought a worktop from Betta Living Oldham with a 5 year guarantee After 18 months it cracked so I complained in December 2011. I made 19 phone calls to try and get it looked at. I even had one answer from the receptionist at Betta Living Oldham that they do not do kitchen worktops !!! Betta living sent out a fitter who admitted that there was a bad joint between the two pieces of worktop. They have sent me out a repair kit and they said that they would send out an engineer to nenew the joint I am still wondering if I am going to be able to get it repaired 10 monts after it started cracking.

   We got a quote for a kitchen from Betta Living which seemed fantastic. 2 weeks later when we were about to sign the finance agreement we realised that the 0% offer is not at all what it seemed! We are now 3 months on and still trying to get our "refundable" £100 deposit back. We have been into the store and made 7 phone calls to head office and 2 other branches....still to no avail! Do not leave a refundable deposit with this company as you will never get it back!!
