Needed a new car battery. Remembered using The Battery Shop many moons ago and recalled the gentleman there was helpful. Still the same guy. Rather than go the Halfords route (£15 to fit) I rang and got a very competitive quote. Went the next day and was fitted in minutes (free). A really decent and knowledgeable chap – good old fashioned personal, customer service. Solved the problem - car going great guns since. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.
Recent cold weather caused the battery in my Zafira to die. I've previously had a battery from this shop for my father's car. The service was top notch on that occasion and top notch on this too. Highly recommended. True honest customer based service. Was happy to fit the battery if needed and also checked the alternator for free. No pushy sale and honest advice.
Recommend this place if you need your car battery checked. Richard will tell you if your battery's fine or not, he's not just after a sale. If your battery needs changing he will sell one and fit it for free.
