Have to give 1 star as can't give zero, bluntly ... rubbish... lack of professionalism and competency, Fitted a part in my car, quite expensive, Didd not assembled properly so had to return and ask to redo... Not much of a apology. And again.... Later discovered the fitted part is actually wrong one, without sensor, as in my car this part does have a sensor fitted, now it's just hanging on...

Externally this place is difficult to feel like you are going to get good service. But don't be deceived, the neighbouring crash repair business are the issue, all work on your car will be top notch! On my latest visit I had a wheel speed sensor fault causing ABS problems and it was diagnosed and replaced within half a day and at a VERY reasonable cost. No extra work was 'discovered' to be needed, as is so often the case, and my car has run faultlessly on several long runs since being repaired.

Have been using SAS Autos for a few years now. After moving out of the area I still wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. I phoned up on Saturday with what I suspected being exhaust issues. I was asked to bring the car down so the team could have a look. The issues was soon identified, explained and shown to me. I then was able to book my car on for Tuesday for the work to be carried out. When picking the car up I was told a part I needed was sourced at a cheaper price so my total bill was cheaper than quoted. You won’t find a more reliable, trustworthy and honest team than SAS Autos.

Recently started using SAS as they are close to my home. Im always dubious about using a new mechanic. I had a faulty oil pressure switch (diagnosed on the roadside by RAC), they had no problem installing a part I purchased myself from elsewhere and did it for a good price. I noticed after that my car was leaking oil, I took it back to the garage to investigate. They said the new sensor was leaking, they reinstalled it with sealant and now works great. Didn't charge for the remedial work, very pleased and will definitely use again. (Note the sensor housing had corroded previously which is why the new part leaked and not the fault of the garage).

Work done is decent and the mechanics seem to know what they’re doing however make sure you ask them for a breakdown of costs and what work they undertook. The price they charge for work can be inconsistent, its the same with most garages and trades.
