Went for first time yesterday and was properly disappointed always thought about popping in and having a meal and drink and both me and my daughter was very disappointed and wonβt return we both had a light meal with chips and a latte and was very disappointed the meal was mediocre thought it would have been loads nicer But sadly was tasteless and u cooked chips, the coffee was awful a mean dreadful the whole amount came to 20 pound and tbh woudl have been best spent elsewhere! The approach to the cafe was underwhelming with most tables cluttered and unclean infact the whole cafe looks unkept and messy the staff uniforms look dirty and unkept very dissapointing experience and we wonβt be returning its not even reasonable prices for what u get! Morrisons u should be ashamed at this cafe! Do u not care about your shoppers???

The food was mediocre but as expected. What actually surprised me is the lack of clean tables they were all filthy and itβs not even like staff shortages to blame because there were plenty of staff around but with no initiative to wipe a table down. It was just bizarre to see the basics missing from a cafΓ©.

Decided to splash out and have "Ultimate" fish and chips. The size of the fish looked more suitable for a child's meal. Seemed like a standard portion that had been cut in half. Plenty of chips though. Somewhat disappointed.

However morrisons managed to find sausages as cheap as these I'll never know. The fish and chips looked lovely However they were absolutely tasteless and don't mention the cold cup of tea.

My partner and sister in-law got the S@#ts here after having the southern fried chicken burger. Avoid. There were no clean trays available only dirty ones. No cutlery, had to ask for them to bring clean ones out

Nothing ever straight forward in this cafe, they need more signage up to explain what you can or can not order from certain tills, instead of thinking customers are mind readers, tbh I was going off this cafe anyhow due to some, not all, being unfriendly, will take our custom ti the lovely winter green from now on, portion size has also be reduced massively though prices have increased, far better value at winter green just up the road

Lately i think Morrisons cafes are in competion to be the worse. Called in today tables were cluttered, the lass on the till kept saying the till was slow but did she stay and get through the queue no, just kept saying there was something wrong with it and walking past. When she did get on it seemed to work ok from where i was sitting. Got our sarnies then had to wait for our drinks, no self service (Don't know if this is a new thing or just happens at this store) we had nearly finished the food before the drinks arrived but the chocolate was nice I'll give them that. It wasn't that busy so god help them if it ever does seemed haphazard.

The food is quite nice, interesting updated menu. The difficulty paying by cash is irritating, though. Till is often unattended these days. Even when staff can see you waiting! Picking a table before sitting down is all well and good when it's not busy, but you could run into problems if your predicted table is gone before you can get to it when they're full. You have to chase staff down for basics you wouldn't expect to have to ask for (example - the toast was plain and they didn't supply butter automatically)
